Ok had a look on the bay at some sundogs, some have vented lenses would these be the go or doesn't it make a lot of difference? I know with my old sunnys they would fog up from time to time would the vents be to stop this?

Im using same frame - G40 lense....Xlj..The transitions lense changes as light changes - great for partly sunny days and even full cloudy days.....However if you want a cheaper option but still quality are Tifosi glasses (ebay usa and oz ebay are good sources)

A couple of pair of Tifosi are currently on their way from Rockbottom Golf. Worked out at about the same price as another set of Oakley lenses.

What lens colour have people had the most success with? I would like a pair that I wouldn't have to remove to hit shots/putts, if possible.

I have read a few conflicting reports online, so help me out OzGolf.
JC, how have you found the lenses have affected your vision/game?
When I used lenses in Div4 a couple of years ago it took me a few rounds and some range time to get used to the different "look". It actually appeared that the ball was closer than it did with glasses so I topped a lot of iron shots to begin with and my pitching and putting went long until I adjusted.

Maybe I can blame today's debacle on switching from glasses to contacts..

I think there is a little bit of a learning curve. I am hitting it pretty good, but have also hit quite a few uncharacteristic cold tops since I have got them. I wonder if I can blame shanks on them too? I shaked 3 straight 4 irons practicing a few weeks back and two more irons on Friday. Before that, it was a shot that I never played.

I have found lining up putts a little tricky, not looking through the glasses lenses. I have tried wearing the sunnies, but it is a different kettle of fish. I think I am pretty much there now, as I've got quite a few rounds under my belt with them.

It still feels very strange walking around without glasses though. There have been a few times where I have gone to adjust something that isn't there.

Wow that is cheap. I've been happy with the Tifosi sunnies I got off the bay.

I find the brown lenses to be great for golf don't know how they would go in summer though.

I bought some Bolles once (back in 2010!) from a US website (A pair of shades) but that was when the dollar was a bit better... I think I got a set of Bolle Vigilantes with a few different sets of lenses for under $200 with prescription but they didn't end up working out for me. I think I looked into another website called Optics Planet but their turn around time was a bit longer. If you figure out what frames out want there should be plenty of online shops
