What brand/model are they? I assume you have some out of the normal needs as far as contacts go?

Why didn't you get disposables? They cost me about $8 per lense and last 6 weeks at a time.

I wear cheapo sunglasses and take them off for shots. I've lost or broken too many to want to spend any money on a good pair.

I'm finding at 51 that I really can't see the ball coming down with any consistency at all. Reall once it starts dropping I'm looking to the ground for the bounce.
What type and colour of lenses might help me with clarity?
If it wasn't for those damn putters......

+1 for Bolle Eaglevision.

Just recieved my oakley flak jackets on friday and wore them yesterday for the first time (from pro clubs and they came ok - I wa sa tad concerned as I know pro clubs have recieved a bad rap from a few people here)
lenses are G40 transition lense - changes as the light brightens or darkens - I found I could leave them on the whole day for all shots

I Wear Sundogs atm. I'm very tempted to get the Oakley Radar Path sunglasses. They fit fantastic. Have issues finding a pair that fits perfectly.

I suggest getting reading glasses first.

Criticism doesn't bother me, as it means I am doing something and people are watching.

I have an eye condition that requires me to wear hard lenses. Normal lenses are uncomfortable as anything. I wear ones called mini scleral lenses. Totally different concept, bigger, and much more comfortable.

I happened to get a free pair of Sundogs with brown lenses today.
Someone was so happy that I reported a kid for cheating (would have won it all without my report) that he gave me a pair for free. I'll post details in the infringement thread tonight or tomorrow.

Sundogs are good for cheapies. Biggest key to checking if they will distort your vision is to look at them from the front and slowly turn them so your reflection moves from one end to the other. If the reflection stays constant then they are fine. If your reflection changes then don't wear them while playing a shot or reading greens.

Not an option, unfortunately. I have had a corneal transplant on one eye. Option of doing the other, but I don't want to take time off.Cheers SMS, will try.

Tifosi make great golf sunnies. Cheaper than oakleys and some on the bay always too.
Often packaged with 3 lenses too

Very timely this thread! My 5 year old Rudy Projects are due for replacement and that site has some great bargains.

Those Syluro's on the erudy site with the transition lenses seem like a bargain. Anyone got/had that model?
