I couldn't back him and then watch him stiff it and miss every putt.

He is a great guy though and I have known his coach, Triggsy, for over 30 years.

I backed Scott and Cabrera ($10 on each) . Snedeker and Day were my other picks. Jason is making it much easier for me to not regret not backing him. Snedker is probably a guaranteed cert now!

I backed Westwood, Dufner & Furyk last night and of course, they all go out and have plenty
I just can't bring myself to put money on the Aussies.

You picked a winner in my early days and I had a decent win. I thought you knew what you were doing. How wrong I was.

Lucky I stopped backing your donkeys last year

Yeah good move not backing my donkeys. The funny thing is, since I have stopped posting picks, my strike rate has been great

Revive a thread here.. anyone still have a look at the golf betting wise? The frenchy Dubuisson is paying 5.50 Top 10 in a 50 man field... Just put $20 on him. Might put some money on Matt Jones for top Aussie at the puerto rico open.

Looks like Daves and Petey used to do well on the golf betting?

I bet mainly on the Majors, like PeteyD. You can safely eliminate a fair percentage of the field in a major, so make the odds a bit more attractive. I do have the occasional dip on PGA events, usually when I see someone running into a patch of good form, and at attractive odds for a top 5/top 10 finish etc. Plus the odd multi on head to heads, as a cheap way to have some interest in individual groupings/results.
