Default Jesper Parnevik nearly severs finger

Jesper Parnevik's career is in doubt after he nearly severed his right index finger in a boating accident, the Golf Channel reported Friday.
Parnevik's right hand was caught in a motorized winch as he was taking his boat out of the water. The 47-year-old had surgery Thursday in Jupiter, Fla.
"When I saw the edges of the machine, I was 100 percent sure that I lost all the fingers. I was terrified," Parnevik said in an interview with Sweden's Aftonbladet.se that was translated to English.
"The doctor thinks that it will be good, but it can take a hell of a time (four months of rehab). I think that you cannot do so damn much without the right hand. It is quite important, not just in golf," he said. Report

Just as well dc68 didn't do it or he would have no sex life for 4 months.

I am sure he would have great surgeons who will put it all back to normal, or maybe a little to the right to cure his slice.

I had a mishap with a Mitre Saw today, luckily it was pretty much just a flesh wound...could have been much much worse. still think i will not be able to play golf for a while

Russell reckons it is not as bad as his thumb. Poor Jesper's wife she has got a long road ahead of her.

He could pretend he was married with children.

Probably the least required finger for playing golf anyway.
