    Default Local rules

Note: I thought there was already a thread about this but couldn't find it. If it pops up I'll merge this stuff into it.

First question: what are the rules in relation to, or is it permissible to declare all bunkers GUR due to condition (eg. full of water). References to rulings would be appreciated of they exist.

Good question, there is something quite complex about declaring bunkers or when they are full of water and I can't remember what it is.

You can declare all bunkers out of play and GUR through the green but you cannot handicap anyone.

Pelican always leave 4 bunkers in play so they can handicap. Usually 4 which only Solarman could hit into.
    Forum needs more banter.

I think the way it is done is to declare them GUR. Nothing specific in the rules that I could find easily.

From memory if more than 3 bunkers are out of play, no one playing can be handicapped. A week or so ago at my home club the bunkers were all out of play due to the damage caused by rain.

Cheers Steve! That pretty much covers it.
