A few months back I had a 1.5 footer on the last that would have got me a shot back and nothing in the comp. I made the bastard. That's the way it should be.

    Makes sense.

How else could you explain driver, driver to a foot and make par.

    Maybe you post to much?
Why exactly do I need to answer to you?

Interesting that our saturday comps aren't run in divisions, just a prize for best gross and then nett scores.

You would be surprises that its not just the high handicappers having 40pts that win each week.

Lets not forget some of the guys playing off low single figures can have birdie fests as well. thats how they got there in the first place.
You're in big trouble though, pal. I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!

The last few months have been teetering between A and B division (range from 10-14 HC). I've won a lot more in A division with a lower net score than in B. Typical example is Monthly medals: in A grade, a net 69 or 68 is likely to win it. In B grade, a 65 or better is what it takes.

Hence, when the new HC system was introduced, we flipped across to 3 divisions for prizes each week.

Some good golf there. Our low markers have been complaining previously. Their gripe was they only get to play for Overall usually.

I think the average bunkers and slow greens at The Vines right now aren't helping the cause for the lower capers much.

Hopefully come November, the greens will be fully back and the bunkers will play a bit more consistent, once they get a bit of attention.

Sure. I'd hate to think that you mods are missing out on some perks. Ghey Butter could be quite useful to one or two of you.

I'm not worthy, since I am neither a WAnker nor a mod.

Ghey Butter will be providing this years trophy, a slightly more sturdy version that will hopefully be used in perpetuity.

It's quite greasy after it's left in a warm car.
