    Goonie.

I challenge thee to the quarter final playoff at Nudgee this Sunday.

Actually ... it might be my last game for a month or so... weekends aren't normally real good ... and I gotta start rubbing some ugly cream 'Efidux' onto my face to kill off a heap of sunspots - which means staying out of the sun once I start.

Your sore back v my sore shoulder - I'm only 3 games back from injury myself.

    Marto.

Pretty lame I know, bit like taking the soft option of a count back over a sudden death play off.

47 Matches played so far - with only another 7 on the agenda.

Suggested changes for next year? ...

    A Gold Coast Group?

Smaller groups with ability to play 2 matches against each opponent - with only 1 player going through to the quarters?

    just ideas ...

    discuss.

    Gold Coast group - Yes
    Smaller groups - Yes
2 matches against each opponent - Good idea, could play at home course & away at their course.

Another idea - start next years preliminary rounds straight after this years champs as pennant season stuffs up quite a few of us in the Feb-April timeslot.

Will do ... I only took it on because no one else wanted to ... thats why we started late.

I'm thinking of a bonus point if you play someone around their home track and you beat them..... unless it's your home track too ...

Groups setup by location/home course could help get more even more games played

    eg
Brissy South East, Brissy North, Brissy West and Logan/Gold Coast to make 4 Groups.

I understand that, and I think this year has been awesome.

I am just throwing ideas around, and asking people if they think spliting up the north and south instead of weekend/weekday would work better.

How did people find the weekend/ weekday groups?
