    Default US PGA

Who do you all is going to win the PGA this week?

Was going to place a poll but it just would be too hard to list those with a chance, so you are all going to have to post your tip.

Pity Norman pulled out this morning was interested to see if his recent good form could give them a scare.

    My Tip

    Vijah Singhe

    Strongest Aussie

    Mark Hensby.

And I am supporting those tips with Sportstab bets too.

Yeah thats what a said/meant/mumbled.  You can add a few more to that list for their first major. Price, Singh, Stewart and Nelson i think

Anyway since when was Golfer69 a stats man - I thought he was a feel player.

    A disgrace I tell ya !
every Major ever shown by Channel 9 people whinge about the coverage, number of ads, lack of actual golf, too many flowers etc etc.

It is a pity that it is expensive each month to have, but in my opinion it is worth it not to have Golf Mart ads shoved down your throat every 5 minutes (literally), IMHO.

    thats not right at all.

Wherever Foxtel doesnt provide a service, Austar does, and vica versa. that is an absolute. There is almost nobody in australia that cant get a satellite tv service now.

Also on the Gold Coast both Austar and Foxtel provide Satellite TV together (which was caused by some bungling clerical error years ago).

The only exceptions are if you live in some highrises or apartments (or caravans, tent, donga) and getting a sat dish installed on common property is a huge hassle. Even then there are simple ways around that - ask me if you need to know.

We have the satalite already installed for some other channels but have spoken with foxtel about 10 times and they have said we will send someone out to asses it but no one has EVER turned up

Which means many wasted hours spent waiting at home for them arive. As a result we have given up

    That doesnt even make sense.

You ring up, order the service and its installed within a few days. Standard Procedure/

Why would they need to assess it.

out of curiosity, what channels are you getting now on that dish and where do you live?

About 7 Channels right - That means your dish is pointing at Optus B3, which is about 5 degrees off Optus C1 which is where the Foxtel/Austar is transmitted from.

If you want to retain the free channels from the B3 you will need to get a 2nd dish - which Foxtel supplies for free.   You can get a 'double ended" LNB for your dish but thats going to cost you a fair bit of dough and its not worth it - the foxtel guy wont have anything to do with that.

It sounds to me like when you have been ringing them up, you have confused them by talking about the existing dish on your roof.    Just forget about that and order the service and they will book an install date and it will be done.  It makes no difference to the install fee whether you have a dish on the roof already or not.

I dont know exactly where Bunya is - are you sure its in a Foxtel service area?

But you might have a problem if the dish on your roof already belongs to Foxtel - they will just realign it to C1 and pull the cable from your free sat tv service, but I doubt it is theirs - Foxtel has only being installing Sat dishes for a little over a year.

Hensby is now a yank by the TV coverage. They have a US flag next to his name on the leaderboard. What is going on there?
