Interesting article by John Feinstein about Tiger. Pretty much sums it up.

Who cares what he does outside golf. I just want to see good tournament golf again with him competing.

So do I. So does everyone. Bottom line is he's looking like a pretender. You reckon he really respects the game, the people involved, the spectators?

would love to see this guy competing again at the pointy end of big tournaments. Would not be bothered if he never won another major though.
I don't care what he does on the golf course, the last couple of years have been just as good.
I wanna see more porn stars, they have nice breasts.
I want to see him playing competitively and more often. I don't care what he does outside of golf.

His only sin was banging a heap of cheap slags whilst he was still married. Now that he is divorced he can do whatever he pleases.
I'd like to see him go close in a major this year but lose out in a playoff to a young superstar in the making (or Adam Scott)... then I want to see if he can do a Rory and bounce back in the very next major. It would be good to see a couple of guys battling throughout the year for #1 in the rankings. Jason Day can surely make a run this coming year if he wins a big tourney early on - he certainly plays and competes in enough tourneys... just needs to learn how to close them out. Even in his first tour win he didn't look great coming down the stretch.

we know golf is at that level is about whats' in the head, for the last year he's had no smile, sulking look on his face (poor me look what I have done look)
However in the presidents cup and before that in the Aus open we saw some smiles and a more relaxed woods - he played better, he putted better.
I think too many have written him off, if he gets his putting confidence back he will win again.
As far as I can remeber Tiger has always had a sullen expression on his face. If I was a tour pro I would worship at his altar given what he has given them. I'm not a tour pro, I have enjoyed seeing the veneer of bullshit around Tiger unravel. The OP question was has he changed, yes he has, he will be more careful when banging scrubbers but he will trot out the same lies to the press. Golf wise I am indifferent, I am old so Jack was the man.
fair call
hes always had the gameface look but the chin was up and eyes darting about, I look at body language allot. I did however see a change in the Aus open and Presidents cup Chin up, yesy drating about, gameface on
part of me does feel for him (small part I must add) I have 2 kids and if someones said to me I was going to live under the same roof has them i would be gutted beyond belief I must say
I want more scandals. I hope he never wins another tournament and the other good guys on tour step their games up to a new level so that we can forget all about him.
At the risk of re-starting debate on a well worn subject, I'm not too sure that he was a complete douche bag because of his actions. He played around on his wife. Not good but I think there's one or two others who've done it also. Yes, he held himself out to be a family man whilst playing around on his wife. Not good but I think there's one or two others who've similarly held themselves out like that. Other than that I can't think what else he's done wrong (morally). Btw, he was caught out by his wife & his punishment was meted out by her. Something he'll have to live with for the remainder of his life. Now about his golf ...
Agree on both counts. The sport is much better off with him in it. I think the injuries and all the other personal stuff that went on certainly has made him more humble and he looks like he is taking things a lot more casually and really enjoying himself out there.
I'm sure however some of the haterz like Jazz would disagree that he is in any way any more humble now.
Go Tiger!I'd like watching golf to be interesting again.
