Based on this thread that I found whilst trawling around:

How did you go?
Started off the year promisingly, but a lack of comp rounds (and getting out onto a course in general) has meant that whilst there have been flashes of good stuff, there have been flashes of horror (often in the same round).Did you achieve what you wanted to achieve?
I never really set any concrete goals at the beginning of the year. If anything, I was hoping to continue to improve the straightness of my driver hitting (which has been happening), and work on getting my cap down to a level that people think I am capable of (which is still IMO at least 4 shots away).
Did you reach your goals?
See above. Also, I was hoping to get in more comp rounds in 2011 than the 9 that are on my GL.
Did your golf game go backwards or forwards?
Probably hovered around where it was this time last year, with the occasional peak and trough. I feel that my putting went forwards in terms of being able to make better lag putts and not leave myself with long 2nd putts, and my short game went a little backwards.
Any there any outstanding experiences from the year, that you'd like to share?
78 off the stick at Windsor stands out like a sore thumb, as do a couple of birdies at Coolum (6 and 12) in the pre-Champs round. Being a spectator to Tim's eagle on the 12th in the 2nd round of Champs was pretty nice too.
Did you play some great courses?
Coolum, Long Reef and Pelican Waters were great.
---------------
And next year:
What are your goals for 2012?
Get the cap down to 10, stop chopping and changing what's in my bag, get at least 1 comp round in every fortnight, and work on getting my short game back up to where it was for a while late last year/earlier this year.
Got any golfing holidays planned?
I'm hoping to get up to FNQ in June or July and have a few rounds with Courty, Haysey, NAGA Emeritus et al. when the weather is at its peak. Maybe another trip up to the Hunter Valley like I did last year.
Have a particular course lined up to play?
Not really - a venture out to places like St Michaels and other accessible yet nice Sydney tracks might be on the cards, plus Stonecutters Ridge when it opens up.
