Cool .. I am staying at Sea Temple, so just around the corner.

    What day suits best?

I intend to play at least 2 of every 3 days but have to take my wife around for a few of the rounds as I have been trying to get her interested in golf

Either the 31st or the 2nd works for me.

I might be able to make it.

The 2nd would be my preference but I'm happy to fit in with whatever suits the majority.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Don't let her meet these guys. She'll never want to come back.

IanO, Mossman is better than Sea Temple.

Maybe. Someone's gotta save the city from that fat bearded bloke.

Don't listen to him, IanO. Although Mossman does have some great holes for what it is.

I'm on leave from the 21st. So I'll be playing about a third of the golf I usually do. Sigh!

Mate of mine in Sydney is a firey. He requests to work Christmas day. With loading and penalties makes over a grand in a day.

    Bump.

Any closer to nailing down a date?

The morning of the 31st would be my suggestion if it suits?

The morning of 31 December is fine with me .. who else is in.

I would prefer Sea Temple (as it leaves my wife with the car)

My wife and I will probably try to book in for a game as Mossman on the morning of 29 December
