The fact that someone could shoot a 17 on a Par 4, in a Stableford competition.
And then promptly follow this up with a 9 on a Par 3, two holes later.

playing the other day, had a very slow pair in an electric buggy in front, asked if I could play through....."no we have already let somebody through", I was somewhat amused at the reason, considering they had only played two holes.

Bought a new driver through Oncourse golf, quite a large organisation.
Driver arrives with no adjustment tool, queried it and was told they are not supplied anymore with purchase.
Seems odd to me, is this normal now?
If the product is adjustable I would think that would be supplied?
It's a TM product.

If that's standard then it's pretty shit.
Never mentioned as an add on anywhere in their marketing.

Phones don't come with a charger now days. Do they even supply a cable with them? That, I guess, would be comparable to the driver not coming with a shaft.

The guy from oncourse emailed me last night saying he'd try to find a spare tool, meanwhile I had contacted TM Australia with my concerns.
Followed that today with a phone call to TM who advised that they haven't supplied tools since the stealth release.
He said I could purchase one separately.
I asked were the tools advertised, he said no.
I asked if the advertisements for new TM drivers added a disclaimer that you would need to purchase a tool separately, he said no.
He said contact the seller, I told the TM guy the seller said it wasn't supplied.
I told TM guy I wanted it supplied to me for free.
He said that I should contact the seller.
I asked to speak to TM guys supervisor.
After a short wait TM guy got back on phone and advised that one would be shipped for free to my pro shop.
Success.

You sound like me when trying to get something fixed under the Aust consumer guarantee.
Granted, for a driver tool I probably wouldn't have bothered.
But, that's what makes you you, and we wouldn't want you any other way 😁

If you didn’t already have a cupboard full of adjustment tools you’re clearly not a big enough ho.

Am I wrong in thinking that the same tool can be used over different brands, any expections? I've got a TM that I've used on my Ping

They are all Torx 25 screwdrivers Can buy anywhere for few bucks, albeit without torque function. You might even already have one laying about the house. I probably have 20 at work. (P.s. could be TX20... dont shoot me)

Have sold my old drivers with associated tools.
New driver to me = new tool [ and I may or may not mean that literally)

In my experience, if your opening line in such matters is "I am fully aware of my rights under Australian consumer law", you will get exactly what you are looking for.

Agree with this and normally my go to opener but felt the need to do some improvising and keep that as back up.
Usually the term ACL flows freely from my tongue in most situations.
