Everyone sick of playing "Boring old Stableford"?

As someone who played nothing but single stroke as a junior, I'll happily play Stableford until the end of time if required.

I'll admit, I'm avoiding 4bbb until I feel more consistent and wouldn't be too detrimental to a partner. I don't mind a mix of different comps. For a long time I was just finding the standard SS, 4bbb, Stab, and rarely seeing anything else. Sometimes around xmas there might be a bit more of a mix up of events.

The same people, who complain about playing single stableford (with 2bbb) all the time, will then tend to fluff around marking the card as they struggle to work out how to score par, multipliers, Irish better ball or Magic Sixes.

p.s. And play lots of provisional balls in stroke play.

I think he'd be way too hard on his playing partner.

I would just love to see you carrying/dragging two bags around the course! You'd probably wuss out and use a golf cart.

Shawn Clement used to say that his bag was mixed hand, every second club was other hand. He'd play either hand as needed.

We bought some concert tickets through Ticketek last January. A few months later we received an email saying they had overcharged us and a refund would be processed in the next 10 days. A month later nothing, so I sent an email inquiry, but received no reply. Out of the blue last week I got a reply and advice we would receive the refund shortly. It is in the account today, a year later!

Finished up at the shops and noticed two blokes had loaded a lazyboy chair onto a trailer hitched to a sedan. As they were leaving at the same time I thought I would follow purely for the amuzement factor. Being that the the speed rating for a rideon lawn trailer is probably 25klms and the load would be unbalanced, like the driver.
3 minutes later at the 50klm speed mark a speed wobble started and the 4th swing jackknifed it after slamming into the back of his boot.

Kids water bottles, feel like we've gone through about 5 each kid in the last 6 months. Some our fault, left places and others broken. 2 broke in the last 2 days.

    Terry Price.

Does he have only one set of clothes for golf.

Is it the Hogan look or street bum?

Sat next to him at a Pro Am dinner, man of strong views, suspect part of his attire would be a MAGA hat.

What’s worse, giving out participation certificates or defending receipt of a participation certificate and trying to convince people you did something to earn an award?

If they participated, then haven’t they earned being awarded their participation certificate?

My kids bin their own participation awards now. They know they did nothing more than show up to receive a fake award. I believe I’ve taught them well.
