Blame "the mines". It's still probably QANTAS's most profitable run - it's a very captive market.

Yeah the direct Bris to Kar was the way I went last time...just thought I'd plug in a depart from Goldie to see what it came up with. A lice 90 minute ride up on the choochoo.

When I worked over there my boss flew me Qantas from Cairns - Alice Springs - Perth - Newman/Paraburdoo and then back in reverse order on my break. I think I'd earn 12500-15000 frequent flyer points each trip. Got no idea what the cost was.

The cost for the air travel subsides a little when you fork out $300 a night for the 3 star Best Western.

That most of the people leave the cinema as soon as the credits start, even though they must surely know that there is gonna be a heads up sneak peak part after a segment of those credits run.

Startrack shit me. We live about 3mins from the outskirts of town. But they only deliver to our region one a week, on Wednesdays. Once we had a pc from Dell arrive to them on a Wednesday, and sit there for a full week before they delivered to us. Next time we were waiting on a laptop, kept out eyes on the tracking and on a Wednesday it said delivered. But we didn't have it. Took dell and Startrack 4 days to work out it was sitting in the office, awaiting delivery the following Wednesday. I gather they don't fully understand the purpose of a courier.

How can a company be so ****ing incompetent, despite my ringing them yesterday and explicitly instructing them to ensure the bloody thing doesn't end up in Mexico again??

I emailed GCO...stopped short of telling them that Startrack are a bunch of useless ****s, but they need to know that one of their preferred freight options is screwed up.

I had something delivered last year that was picked up in Melbourne on the 18th of December. When I didn't arrive in Cairns before January I called the seller. After speaking to startrack they informed him that the Melbourne depot closed for Xmas on the 22nd or 23rd and wouldn't be delivered until it reopens on the 6th of January. COCKS!
