Grown men that park behind another car at the petrol station and wait instead of using vacant spots where the bowser is on the wrong side for their fuel outlet.

I came in this thread to post the exact same thing. I was ready to question someone at the petrol situation today because he did just that. I pulled a 3 point turn in the wife's wagon, no problem. This guy sat there in a Yaris. He could have got out, picked it up and turned it around if he wanted. I don't know why, but it frustrates me so much.

Spotting a vietnamese restaurant named after a famous dog that starred in 'The Wizard of Oz'. Hopefully the name didn't resemble any content that's included in the menu...

And THEN 5 minutes later, seeing a drunken old fart walk past the entrance to this same resturant, turning nearby heads as he goes, due to the 'stench' that follows his brown stained rear end - like the cloud that follows the Pink Panther (just a lot more of an unpleasent one on the nose).
Yes... it certainly was all happening in East Victoria Park yesterday afternoon .

The failure of my "Bunnings brand - grow your own mushrooms farm" to produce anything resembling a mushroom, despite 8 weeks of following the instructions to the letter.

Why do a three-point turn? The nozzle always reaches over to the other side. The bloke I saw last week was waiting behind another car when I arrived. Parked in the empty one next to him, pulled the nozzle over the other side filled up, paid and drove off and he was still waiting behind the other car.Probably an iPhone user too

speaking of petrol stations... It bemuses me that my wife seems nonchalant to the orange fuel light. IT's almost as if the light comes on and the thought process is that she should probably fill up on the coming weekend.

Went to take the kids for a scooter ride around the parklands today and got 100 yards up the road and conked out. First time I've run out of fuel in 21 years driving. When I started the car I saw the fuel light and the gauge on 'E' and resolved to fill up straight away. I didn't get the chance.... We've had countless conversations about not running the car to empty. Especially with diesels, they need a decent amount of fuel in them as the fuel plays a cooling role as it's cycled back through the tank. Anyway, I give up. Girls just don't "get" this stuff.

On a positive note, RACQ ultra care worked well. The bloke turned up in 30 minutes with a complimentary jerry of diesel.

She fessed up to the RACQ guy. I've resisted giving her a lecture. I only drive the car on weekends. I just service it, clean it, fill it up with fuel etc etc....

It seemed easy to just turn around. The wagon is lpg. It would have been a struggle to attach the nossle if I was fighting the length of the hose as well.

LPG is a bit different. But small petrol cars it is easy enough to take the hose over.

Here's that video I was telling you about. Btw, I looked it up, back in the 1950's a croc was caught outside Normanton, QLD that reportedly measured over 8.5m.

+1000. I lecture my other half every time I get in to drive her car and find the light is already on. I've told her not to bother calling me if (and when) she ever runs out of fuel.
