Most likely now they'll engage a better and more expensive company to fix it for the same price it cost to build.

Probably the Wagners up here, who lost out on the contract to build it in the first place.

Not sure if they would have the time?
Especially if they launch legal action against themselves for damaging their own reputation by continual defamation cases...

Well, they keep winning them ATM.I don't know anything about the boys, but I've done a fair bit of work for the matriarch of the family, and she's lovely.

Pat Welsh should be no surprise. He's the Bruce macavaney of insignificant Sports.

I suspect it’s a financial decision as he’s already on their books as sports reporter.

I guess its partly because commentators need to be entertainers, and former players no matter how insightful are often plain dull. Golf being one of the dullest sports on the planet doesnt help much.

That doesn't explain how Grant Dodd gets a start. He's as dull as dishwater.

While on a different continent, it doesn't explain how Frank Nobilo just got promoted from Golf Channel to NBC's main coverage. He's as dull as dishwater as well.

But, to each their own. For every internet expert who dislikes a commentator, there is someone who claims that person as their favourite. Some people used to like Johnny Miller.

I was the last caddy Grant Dodd ever had. He never played a tournament again. I didnt think i was that bad.

American sports coverage revolves around a professional caller along with an analyst. For some reason Australian sports assume the people watching are complete novices and dumb the conversation right down and attempt some really shitty “humour”.

Non golfers don’t watch golf, so why they do this is anyone’s guess.

Bree Laughlin s a pretty fair sort, so at least the coverage had something going for it. Shame she was confined to the cripples event.
    Forum needs more banter.

That Elon Musk (Electric Jesus) has just got a Jury to confirm that you can't take anything he says seriously. I wonder if he will use that one next time the SEC prosecutes him!

Saw this on the way home from golf yesterday. As we drove past it was 100% impaled into the bumper. Looked like he had to snap it off to keep driving.

I'm bemused by the change to the definition of the word "ever".

    Hottest day ever.
    Biggest bushfires ever.
    Hottest year ever.
    Lowest rainfall ever.

Recorded history is not the same as ever.

A golfing Colleague frets about Multiple Tee Markers being left in place during Comp rounds e.g. Black and Blue Markers on a Black Marker day. It really bugs him and I love stirring him about it.

His argument is that there will be groups that play off the wrong tees and won't correct it therefore they have an advantage . My arguments are we are currently playing Preferred Lies, if someone is going to cheat...... and 2) that would surely require a conspiracy to cheat by the group involved, so how are you going to stop them cheating anyway if they will stoop to that level?.

Did you mention that the club would need volunteers to remove and replace the markers, and that he would be the perfect guy for the job?

Oh he happily kicks over the Blue Markers as we go around. His Civic duty to protect us from the cheats and all that. That is my usual trigger to stir him up over his stupidity.

He isn't the only one. Someone had kicked a number of them over today for the Black Marker. Got to love (laugh at) the Self Righteous ones.
