That would work for me if I was only doing the one head.
Doing a whole set I wouldn't be able to remove the head than clean it up before doing the next.
Maybe it's an OCD thing I have to remove them all than clean all one after another

An update on this. I did as above, and pulled it without any heat, piece of piss. I assume all previous heat removed all bonding.

    Thanks Dave!

I want to remove the shaft off a Scotty Cameron Sonoma so I can send the head down to Kari Lajosi for a refurb. It's a shaft that fits over the neck of the putter instead of inside a hosel. Do I just heat it as with any other club? I'm getting a new shaft so I'm not that worried about the shaft but would prefer not to damage it. Cheers

Thanks Timah! It feels a little wrong sending a Scotty to Lajosi but it looks like he does such an awesome job and his pricing is great too. Will have to look into one of his putters one of these days. Plenty of wraps for them on here.

That's where my one is going. Hoping he can turn it into something decent.

Pretty sure this is what Tourfit hooked me up with. Works a treat.

He gave me a small ziploc bag of it and it will last me forever

They are so good I just bought a 2nd one! Bloodly brilliant for all sorts of work I find. Like a 2nd pair of hands.

Keep an eye out, GW usually has select club building supplies for 20% off during the month, bringing these down to about $54 US

I too use the GW clamp, but if you want to look at other clamps, look at destaco clamps too. Although, not specifically for club building, but this is where GW gets some the parts for making their clamps.

what modifications would I need to make a PXi PW shat, in order to fit it to a 52*/56* wedge?

its been a while, but if I recall correctly, you can't effectively 'tip' iron shafts can you?

You are not supposed to tip PX and PXi shafts, you can only butt trim, so I would say just glue them up and trim them to desired length.
