Using 24hr epoxy for the first time.
Installed driver adapter on, waited a couple hours and noticed I spined it wrong.
Adjusted it to how I wanted.

Would this effect the integrity of the epoxy?

Possibly. Some epoxys may gain an initial bond strength in a couple of hours and if that initial bond has been broken, it could be an issue. Did you need much force to turn it? If it moved easily, you're probably OK. If you needed some decent force to turn it, I'd probably let it cure fully and redo it to be safe.

Im using Cobra Fly-z, just wondering is it possible to change the lie on these irons? I heard some irons cant be bend/adjust because they are too hard solid?

From what I've read Tanax, they appear to be cast heads with a chrome plating.

Not impossible to adjust, just not much fun to

I bought a Driver with a broken shaft (with adapter) from ebay. Unfortunately the seller decided to lower his postage costs by trimming the broken shaft back to just 50mm, which left basically nothing to grip onto with the shaft puller. Thankfully I had picked up a broken shaft extractor, and this enabled me to grip it in the puller and pull the adapter.

Very handy device to have! You could no doubt also find some coach type screws that would probably do the same job in a squeeze.

    Question.

I have just recieved a new driver shaft. But it is long at 46.5".
I want it to play at at 45".

Do i need to butt trim it, which i can do no worries, or tip trim it. It has a Cally tip on it which means i can't tip it myself.

    Cheers

    Butt Trim only.

    Tip trimming changes the flex.

You would probably need to add weight, to get SW back up. 1/2" = 3 SW approx.

It's 46.5" which means it's uncut already so don't need to bother about weights

Ahhh, so its only if im going longer or shorter than 45" i would need to go up or down with weights?

    What about actual shaft weight?

At an extreme, if i was going from a 50g to a 70g shaft at 45"? Would the actual weight affect swing weight?

Only if you want to match the sledgehammer like sw you are running now.

Playing at 45" you would be close to stock sw.

    Cheers.

Tell us exactly what you have now and the sw and what you bought at 46.5" long and we may be able to help.

    Cherrs Boys.

Im going from an AD DI 5S to a House of Forged Express 60 stiff. Looking at the specs, there is only a few grams difference, so im not to worried about that now.

My extremes question was really just for my own info bank

    Club-building Gents,

Does anyone know if a SuperStroke putter grip can be removed without cutting/destroying it? Not attempting it myself, but I've had one changed professionally before and the dude told me they had to cut it to get it off. Thanks, FJ.

If the dude told u it has to be cut off then you probably didn't get it "professionally" done
