Most of the time I can get them off, but you sometimes wonder if it is really worth the effort. Ideally you need something that will get some solvent inside the grip to break the bond. You can use an injection needle type system like this;

I use one of these V groove devices;

Anyone on the central coast or northern sydney have a putter lie/loft machine?? I have two identical putters, and want to lengthen one to 42 inch and raise loft to 7 degrees to make my own arm lock putter
Would be happy to post it australia wide if someone wants to have a crack at it???

When u visit your oldies go see grant the golf Dr in holsworthy, he has a loft and lie machine. Only problem with adding so much loft is you will close the face. (I think). I would normal get u to see Paul Jenner but he is in the process of set up his new business.

yeah, i did some reading, seems a lot of people have bent belly putters to 7 degrees and been fine.
I know i have to add weight to mine, but i have a heap of lead tape here for tennis SW and customising so really just need it bent to 7 and a shaft extension put in. I can add a belly grip.
Or i can ask if anyone has a belly who can have it bent, or find someone local to bend it. Just want to give it a try

I've successfully removed OEM grips (many but not 100%) using a compressor, just use a piece of conduit over the grip to stop explosions and squirt some solvent (e.g. turps) into the shaft via the hole in the grip cap.

What's the best way to get this broken shaft out of an R1 tip? Too short to go in my shaft extractor. Just drill it out?

Yep.
Cut it off at tip edge.
Stand it up and pour acetone and let soak off a while.
Drill out.

He is coming over tomorrow night to pick up his driver and 48 vokey. He is playing on Wednesday, so maybe about hole 3.
I told him tonight I am not doing it again, but the shop was going to charge him $450 plus. This way it costs him the costs of the iron shafts and a carton of great northern. And I found a spare 60 sm4 vokey head with broken shaft in his bag that I am keeping as well. He broke that a while ago but just went and bought a new one.

Putter grips. Any one had success with mid size super stroke grips? Or other ideas appreciated and best place to source them?

Use a 80c needle & syringe from a livestock or pet shop filled with petrol never wrecked a grip except when using air. Just take your time and squirt a little in the grip and slowly twist off,
