If it was me, I'd buy a different loft rather than go to the effort of getting it bent.
You would be right chappy, can do and have done a fair bit, have to have right machine which I have and attachments as well, have done a few drivers as well now.

What is the best way to remove a snapped shaft out of a wedge where the shaft has snapped at the hosel? Would it be easier to buy a good drill bit to drill it out or use a thread tap to cut it out?

The drill bit will work. If you dont need the bit anymore jam it in the hosel with the drill the heat it up slightly and the shaft should just come out.
    Are shaft extracters available??

I don't snap them at the hosel. Makes them too hard to get out.

Bluu I have had success with the following.
You will need a tapping tool snug enough to screw into the broken shaft.

Secure the end of the tapping tool into a vice, heat club heat and remove.

Works a treat and I have even been able to do this with a broken graphite shaft

A bit of advice from those with the knowledge to possibly save me making a mistake please.

I am considering putting a new shaft into an old head that I had stuck away in the shed.

The Shaft:- is graphite in construction, measures 45.5" , weighs 66gms, is Reg Flex and has a CPM of 242 and torque of 3.5.

The Head:- A Cleveland Launcher TL310 - 9.5 degree with a bare head weight of 200gms.

Is this a good fit or am I barking up the wrong tree. If so, can someone recommend what loft and weight I should be looking at for this shaft.

    Thanks in advance guys.

The TL310 is a good head. It is .350 hosel size though. So if your shaft is .335, you will have to shim it in.

Post some specs of the shaft too ( make, brand etc)

Thanks for that.. The shaft is a 'House of Forged' Patriot. It is a 335 tip but has been supplied with a 350 shim. Figure I've got nothing to lose so going to do the tin can thing.. Fit it, kick it and see.
