Ok
I've tried using medical grade lint free tissue, still not that good?
The link isn't going to the right page, but I figured out what you are talking about. Mine have all come from Golfworks. This eBayer also has them;

I have not bought any of them off him, but have bought other stuff from him without any issues.
I find old man hankies work ok.
And bulk acetone.
I got those from same seller, good as gold.
Shipping is slowish though.
The best trick I watched Paul do it from ppl is paper towel with acetone a good quality one it brings them up super shinny
I'll check tomorrow , should do?
I gave a couple the other night a quick blast with the blow torch and they came up so shinny and When I mean quick I mean just wave it past it. Turned out mint

Just wanted to confirm, does a 910/913 driver tip go into a 915 head??
Cheers
Yep - yesterday I put the Rogue Silver from my 915D3 into a bitchin' 7.5* 910D3 I just picked up, and put the Ahina 72 X from the 910D into the 915D. With fairways/hybrids, only 913/915 are compatible, so I've read. Bluuey - are you putting some of your TM sticks down and picking up some Titleist action? If so, welcome to the team.

Gents,
What's the best way to remove glue residue from the top side of a driver head? Picked up a driver recently...not sure if it's glue residue or not, and there's not much of it, but if the sun/light is reflecting off it at a certain angle you can certainly see something there. Cheers, FJ.

Thanks Lads. Maybe I'll bring it round to yours next time I'm there Bluu. And you can tell me all about being on the prowl in Tokyo...
Any suggestions on an easier way to remove graphite extensions in steel shafts? Heat just reduces it to a fibrous mess, I ended up drilling the remains out. They seem to be in at least 10cm as well!
Question re shafts, specifically the section that fits into the hosel. Is there a standard diameter to the hosel or does each club manufacturer do their own thing? Also would the diameter vary for different models of clubs made by the same manufacturer? Question relates to irons only. Thanks.
There are basically 2 sizes in use. Most OEM clubs like Titleist, Ping etc use a .355" Taper Tip hosel. The hosel and tip have a slight taper down from 0.370" a few inches up from the tip down to 0.355" at the tip. The taper is there historically to help the glue secure the shaft in place. From the days when glues where not as good as today's epoxys.
The other common size are 0.370" parallel tips. The tip is a uniform 0.370" for the first few inches.
And yes, some manufacturers mix shaft types amongst their models.
