    4i = 37.5
    5i = 37
    6i = 36.5
    7i = 36
    8i = 35.5
    9i = 35
    PW = 34.5/34.75
    Yep.

    Like Cap says, knowing the bbtg height is a big help.

    (Bottom of Bore to Ground).

    Most are 1", but have had 1.25" and 1.5" in a couple of builds.

    Thanks again mate !

    A quick google tells the me i200's are 1.5" ... So one would assume i210's would be the same.

    So add 1.5" to the pulls for final build length ... Geez who knew buying a set of pulls would be such mine field.

    Might be easier just to buy a set of new shafts for a mathematically challenged soul such as myself.

    Thanks again for the info gents, appreciate it.

    Yes they can be hard stepped, but each hard step is roughly equivalent to a 1/3 of a flex. So you need 3 hard steps to get to stiff equivalent. To hard step 3 times means putting the 9i shaft in the 6i, 8i into 5i etc. So you will need 3 more 9i/PW shafts (they are usually the same flex) to do the 9/8/7. Not to mention that you will probably need shaft extensions to get the lengths back to what you need.

    Where’s everyone getting theirs from and what are you using?

    Also who’s still spining/ flo’ing shafts?

    Golfworks tour set, black for black ferrules, clear for coloured ferrules.

    Never spined or flowed a shaft in my life. Prefer to soothe my OCD instead and install shafts logo down.

    au$23 for a 4oz kit from Golfworks, vs au$33 for a 4oz kit for Bramptons local. If I was doing a bulk order to minimise shipping I'd take the Golfworks everytime. Much easier to work with than Bramptons.

    Nah, the good Araldite takes too long to dry. The fast set is too quick, and doesnt have the strength of the slow set I am told.

    Golfworks stuff I use is hittable in 90min.

    Still trying to get my head around all this ...

    BBTG is is pretty self explanatory ... I take it to mean the measurement from the bottom of the bore in the hosel to the ground. I assume the shaft tip butts up against the bottom of the bore ?

    My question is ... if the BBTG is 1.5" (like in Ping i200/i210's) does that mean I'd need a 36.5" inch shaft instead of a 37" shaft to get the standard 38" 5 iron length ?

    Yep, that's exactly what it means. Bbtg + raw shaft length = playing length.

    Same here, never had one fail yet.
    I only use the slow set variety not the fast set.
    I've never had the need to glue something up to use within hours. I've always glued up a day or 2 before I want/need to use. If I was a bigger club Ho the quick turn around time requirement might be different.

    Never had a problem with 5 min Araldite.

    Always prepare thoroughly, allow to set in a warm environment (ensuite with IXL 3in1 heater is great in winter for this and dryiing Estapol) and never use before max. strength recommendation. Also 5 min has minimal chance of movement in setting period.

    I've seen Bramptons-glued clubs give way twice (even with my lack of clubhead speed). At least, one was glued on a winter night.

    So 24 hour Arildite is fine ? It is what I have used because anything else is to expensive . I have used 5minute once on an adapter it lasted 4 swings I think before the whole lot came off
    But a set of irons I glued up with 24 hour is still going
    I think curing temp definitely has an impact though
    Love peoples thoughts on this especially the more experienced club makers

    I've used all of the above after my Bramptons and Golfworks stuff either ran out or got old.

    Currently using Araldite from some of the suggestions here and it's been perfectly fine for everything for the past year. I have a moderately high swing speed and tend to take deep divots so if it was going to fail, it would have.

    I don't use the 5min stuff though, mostly because I don't need to hit something the same day I prep it, and I prefer longer cure times anyway.
