Five episodes left, and the last half of the last episode will be one heck of a denouement, so effectively 4 1/2 episodes to wrap it all up. I expect Ep2 to hit the ground running.

I read that episode 3 will probably be the big battle, as the named director has done battle episodes before.

    Very, very good.

I got sick of waiting, and binge watched all of Season 1 myself. It was great. Unfortunately, SBS On Demand don't have Season 4 anymore, so I may have to get that through other means when I get to it.

I see that there is also a Singapore/Malaysia version, but the UK/French "The Tunnel" version that BenM mentioned earlier in the thread. It says a lot about the original series.

Another building episode but so many elite characters and meaningful interactions in one place it was immensely enjoyable. The next should well be the most talked about in GOT history, or maybe even television history. We've waited years for this.

I'm sure I've mentioned it a billion times in this thread before, but with the start of another season I have to go again.

    Taskmaster.

    Seriously.

Watch it, love it, thank me now.

I've never heard of it, except maybe if you have mentioned it before. What's the premise?

Another season of Brooklyn Nine-nine ends. I thought it was a little down on previous seasons (post initial axing and network change), as my LOL count seemed to have reduced. However, there were several in the last couple of episodes to pick it up again.

I'm liking Season 3 of The Bridge so far. The new Danish detective is intriguing.

The wife and I were disappointed that Netflix cut Santa Clarita Diet after two seasons, as we enjoyed watching that, and it was good for a laugh.

The show we watch with the teenager, The 100, has been cut by us, as we were all losing interest. I was only really watching it, as it was something that we could watch together, but once he got sick of it, it was culled. We've moved on to Dead To Me with Christina Applegate on Netflix, which is completely different to The 100. Pretty good, so far.

Greg Davies as the Taskmaster, judges 5 comedians on how they do on absurd tasks, set by Alex Horne.

Of course the tasks are ridiculous, going from something as basic as fastest to eat an egg, to the larger ones of getting a teammate through an obstacle course in a wheelie bin, blindfolded, and not able to speak English.

Notable comedians to appear over the years are Bob Mortimer, Noel Fielding, Richard Osman, Frank Skinner, Katharine Ryan, Joe Wilkinson, Hugh Dennis, Al Murray, Joe Lycett, Tim Vine...

Not necessarily a life, but they're VERY popular Brit comedians (except for Ryan who's Canadian), far better than anything Australia or the Yanks have ever produced.
