When they do violence it's much more believable than your usual fare all the way down to the Sterling submachine gun. I think that was ep 04 and the show went from bloody good to stupendous for me in the blink of an eye. Ray is so interesting and plays his part so well Mundane banter is elevated.....and often hilarious. I can think about a scene a day later and break into chuckles.

The violence isn't over relied on and it's just brilliant. His character arc is also superb.

    It's simply must see entertainment.

    Amazing.
I saw a few clips of this show randomly a while back and wanted to look it up.

    What’s it on?

    Shoresy was great.

Haha I love how staged and awkward the family bits are, so removed from the actual show.

For a reality show, it probably has highest ratio of likeable people as well.

Best Aussie show in a long long time. Watched it again as I missed a lot from laughing. I didn't want it to end.

It's not action packed, it's not extravagant, it's not flashy, it's not intricate..............but something about it just works, and works, and works. Season 1 is very short and it's a very small investment albeit a very rich one. In recent weeks i've put some Poms and Yanks onto it and they can't turn it off.

I can see myself watching it again in a year. It's just that enjoyable. I've seldom seen someone so suited to a role.

I should add that clips would never do this justice - you just have to have the feel and build up and overall story. I've gone to youtube and watched some of my favorite parts but it's having watched the show that allows me to get plenty out of them.

Slow Horses. Love Gary Oldman's flatulent character.
Apparently S2 has finished filming and supposedly S3 and 4 are already greenlit.

Not quite sure where I sit with this yet 3 episodes in?
I'm having trouble warming to the main character.

That's how I described it to my boss. Not sure if I liked it but couldn't stop watching it. Watched two seasons and the final episode in those two blew me away. Stick it out.

Got through the 3 seasons of "The Boys" on Amazon Prime. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Solar Opposites has 3 seasons also, for all those Rick & Morty fans. Very good.

Probably one only for Football fans, but Welcome to Wrexham is an interesting watch. Bit of American "douche-ism" from McElhenney, but he's a better bloke than I thought.

I've watched about half a dozen episodes of Wrexham - its good. Now footy has ended and I have more time, its time to finish it off.

I'm enjoying it more than Rings of Power - but I've read the book, and that's probably helped keep up with the time-skips and character changes.

I watched the first four episodes and had no interest in any characters. There were boobs though, that was a positive.

I've got the Binge streaming service for the first time. Plenty to watch on it, although my 15yo disagrees and wants Netflix back.

I got it with a hitlist in mind, based on recommendations and IMDB ratings. So far we've enjoyed Mare of Eastown, Mr Inbetween, and Succession.

If you get Paramount Plus, Dexter: New Blood is worth watching for some closure, and The Offer, based on the making of The Godfather, was very good. Not much else on that service though.

On Stan, Better Call Saul finished up a great series. Your Honor was pretty good, but I don't know how they are having a second series.

I've just started watching "The Bear" on Disney+, and am enjoying it so far.
