Hmmm, had a quick look into this show U.S Tara and it looked pretty crap. I might download a bit and check it out.

Finished series one of 30Rock, improved a lot towards the end of the season, will stick with this one.

There's a new series called "Bored to Death". It's very strange - a whimpy pot smoking semi-alcoholic (I only drink white wine, it's got less alcohol) journalist who's girlfriend has just left him, and his comic book writing friend, both having their issues with girls and love life. Meanwhile the main character moonlights as the state Governor "George" (Ted Danson's) 'spiritual' advisor... and pot supplier.

The first episode is fairly soft (as any pilot is), but the second is quite funny.
Lucy Harris smart smart smart, Martin Harris dumb.

Torchwood Season 3 - only 5 episodes but it was one story.

Best Torchwood ever. This one was less on the "MA" rated and heavy on the human drama (ie tissues)

Criticism doesn't bother me, as it means I am doing something and people are watching.

I can't believe no-one's mentioned Shameless- an absolute classic not on at the moment but usually on SBS late Monday night. Also Skins on SBS same time

It could not sustain the momentum it built with the first 3 episodes. It was lame. End was rubbish.

by the end do you mean the aliens story or jacks story?

the aliens was a bit weak but i thought Jacks story/consequences was a good one. but i guess they made jack die so many times it became comical.

I was just recommended watching this, but the guy who told me has dubious tastes. Hearing it from someone 'normal' as well is enough to give it a go.
