I agree with you though! This whole Netflix binge watching thing seems great. But it's bad enough waiting for the next season of a 24ep series, which usually only ends up being a few months. But with stuff like Daredevil dropping all eps in one day, it's 364 days to the next season. Bloody long wait!

This binge watching is affecting my sleep.

Rob felt the same as you, and it's kinda because of that we haven't watched season 2 of Daredevil yet! I watched a few episodes but am gonna watch the rest soon, on the huge tv! She kinda lost interest. I think they've had really good bad guys in both shows thus far. Again, Jessica Jones wasn't your typical superhero show, and quite different even from Daredevil. I think they've been on a winner by not trying to make them like Marvel movies.

Luke Cage is who the next hero show will be based on by Netflix - and then I think it's Iron Fist. There will also be a collaborative show with all 4 in it.
I think I lost a little bit of interest with Daredevil towards the end as well.

Thanks for the spoiler alert on Luke Cage, considering that I just watched him get shot in the head in the penultimate episode. (Although I assumed he would survive, and the next episode synopsis mentions his name).

Sorry . It was pretty widely announced, even before they started everything, that the 4 shows netflix were making were dardevil, jessica jones, luke cage and iron fist, then a combined series. At least widely in my universe.

Does anyone else watch Rick and Morty? It is an adult animated series, and the characters are loosely based on Doc and Marty from Back to the Future. It follows the "adventures" of Rick, who is an alcoholic scientific genius and also a bit of a prick, and his dweeb teenage grandson, Morty.

It's a bit out there, but there is lots of adult humour, and I get a good laugh out of it.

    Here's a golf related clip:

Been recording and watching Two and a half men. Damn that's a funny show. Only the Charlie Sheen ones though. I think it went a bit lame after he left. Jon Cryer is still funny but Ashton Kutcher, no.

Have watched the first few seasons of Peaky Blinders in the last month . Pretty good series loosely based on a gang in 1920s Birmingham.

We started watching the first season of that, but it was just a little too slow, even for us, and we stopped. Was spose to be very good, and I've heard the way they handle how last season ended with this season (keeping the characters) is done well.

Finally got around to watching Daredevil S2. Rob wasn't all that keen, but she seemed to quite enjoy it once it got about mid season, in particular when they weren't fighting.

I haven't got back to Daredevil yet. I'm watching the second season of Better Call Saul for myself, and just started S2 of Fear the Walking Dead with the missus.

We watched 8 episodes of The Shannara Chronicles, another book series that I have read, but quit with 2 episodes to go. It was too lame for me, and I hated the choice of actor (eyepatch guy from Arrow) for Allanon.

I could probably start the third season of Penny Dreadful soon too.

Yeah, I thought about trying Shannara out but haven't. Watched the first episode of Penny D, but Rob isn't into period stuff really so haven't watched any more. I've been happy with the production and the direction of the Netflix marvel shows thus far. Not trying to be copies of the movies, and DD and JJ have been different shows from each other too.

After some browsing I have found out that it is an MTV production, which is targeted more towards teenagers. It's no Game of Thrones, but that is a high benchmark. I didn't mind Legend of the Seeker from a few years ago, which was based on Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth book series, but it was a bit in the Xena Warrior Princess style of TV.

Ok, so during Masterchef (keep ya lips buttoned) on 10, we see an ad by Win TV with Scott Cam, Today show, Richard Wilkins etc etc that from July 1 Win TV will be moving to channel 5 (which currently has ch 10 on it). I found something that says Win TV (which I thought was the regional arm of ch 9) has signed a 5 year deal with ch 10. So what the hell is gonna happen here, and will we be losing ch 9 programming, or will it all mix up? I mean for us regional people who don't get a standard chartered 9?

Yes, I know. Which is why we were surprised to see an ad featuring only ch 9 personalities and shows. I've always just assumed Win TV was the regional arm of ch 9. But it seems Win TV is a regional broadcaster in it's own right which had a contract with Ch 9. They now have (either as well as or instead of) a contract with ch 10. Some stuff I read last night was saying that top ch 10 shows may now be broadcast in HD on their other channel (8 or 80). It all seems a bit strange unless you detach the belief that Win TV is part of Ch 9. It probably won't affect many of you, especially in capitol cities who don't get Win. But for us, we don't get Brisbane 9. It just seemed a strange thing.

That's my understanding too. Basically 9 content will swap to SCTV and 10 content will go to WIN. It's completely fubar but I don't think us regional viewers will lose anything we're currently getting, except perhaps some sport that's currently in HD may go back to SD

Ok, yeah, just found it. It seems they are just flipping deals with each other. So everything sold be available, just on the opposite channel numbers.

Yeah, watched it last week. It was good, but not sure if it was what we're after. Rang a bit like 'Supernatural' to us. Will need to see more.

Bit of a shame that everyday knockabout Aussie' Hoges' is played by arrogant tosspot Josh Lawson.
