Anyone watched the 4th season of Dexter? Clikchic freaked over the season finale! She loved it. I still find it's one of my favourite shows, yet have watched very little of it. Maybe every 4th episode. Just haven't had the time to sit down and watch it. Really need to watch from season 2 again.

Did anyone know that in real life he recently married the dirty talkin chick that plays his sister on the show!

I have only seen the first season and quite liked it.
I have been told the following seasons get a lot better.

Thanks for no spoilers. I haven't watched any of season 4 yet, but now that I have them all, we'll get onto that.

I do recall hearing that. She's not my type, but I guess he's done well, since he's a ginger.

No probs! Rob might say that the finale will rock your world. Leaves it open for an interesting direction next season. I haven't actually seen the final myself yet but I know what happens. I'm debating just watching it, or going back to the start since I haven't seen much from season 2 on.

Clikchic's favourite show, which is saying a lot 'cause she doesn't like bad language and isn't that into gore. Then again, supernatural is probably her second favourite.

AP, I find Dexter cheesy. Very poorly casted I think.... either that or just bad acting/direction.

I think the main dude is quite good, but the other characters are just way too generic. His sister is one of the most annoying characters in recent memory for me. However, please bear in mind I don't watch free to air TV. Only things I download or am recommended. And most of that is comedy. I really hate most generic American TV.

That, and every non-comedy I have watched since Breaking Bad falls short. Extremely, extremely short.

I don't like the sister character either, but enjoy the series regardless. Of course, I don't rely on FTA TV to watch it.

Just visted the old man over Christmas and got to watch a few Brit comedies.

For me, pick of the bunch would have to be Worst Week of My Life which was bloody good. The lead reminded me of John Cleese in Fawlty as he seems to can't do a thing right! I only have season 1 but will be making a trip to the video store to get the rest.

I am yet to see Entourage but with all the talk it looks like I should get into it.

And for those lovers of Brit stand-up, I have Al Murray - The Pub Landlord which is very funny stuff. Also Series Two of the Shaun Micallef program which I am yet to see.

New season of Entourage started last night, followed by two Californications. That'll do me. Sloane in Entourage is worth watching even if you don't like the show.

Entourage started in Oz, but has finished in the US. As has Californication.
I've watched the Entourage series, but none of Californication so far.

I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the Dexter series.

I started season 4 of Dexter. I think I am 5 episodes in.

IMO, it is the most enjoyable series yet. I find it funny a lot of people told me season 1 & 2 were the best. I didn't really like them, which made me think S3 & 4 must be shite. However, I have found them better than 1 & 2. Dexters wife is annoying the hell outta me, and there are some ultra cheesy moments, but apart from that, S4 is very entertaining.

As I've said to AP, I think Dexter is one of the best shows around. Clikchic loves it and watched it, even when I wasn't ready and hence I have seen all of S1, but like half of the episodes each of S2, S3 and S4. But S4 was fantastic.

Monty Python: Almost The Truth The Lawyer's Cut

    8:35pm Sunday, 14 Feb 2010 Documentary CC M

Forty years after they were unleashed on an unsuspecting world, Monty Python: Almost The Truth The Lawyer's Cut is the definitive history of the Flying Circus.

This two-part documentary covers the comedy troupe from their birth to the present day, highlighting their childhood, schooling and university life, as well as their pre-Python work.

The documentary features a wealth of sketches from the 45 episodes of Monty Python’s Flying Circus TV series as well as their hilarious live performances and footage from their classic films Holy Grail, Life of Brian and Meaning of Life.

From their fateful start in October 1969, the Monty Python clan – John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones, American Terry Gilliam, and Graham Chapman, (who died in 1989 from cancer, aged 4 – ignited a comedic revolution and set the bar for satire, slapstick and outright silliness.

New and exclusive interviews with the comedy troupe members and archival footage of interviews with the late Graham Chapman unveil the deeper truths behind their expertly crafted buffoonery.

Commentary from modern day comedians and performers – including Steve Coogan, Eddie Izzard and Russell Brand – cite Monty Python’s Flying Circus as a core influence on their own work.

Monty Python is credited with a sardonic, even cynical edge that took shots at everything proper; pompous barristers, perverted accountants, daffy psychologists, inept military commanders, supercilious news anchors and all others who represented the ruling class.

Monty Python: Almost The Truth The Lawyer's Cut celebrates the legacy of this dynamic comedic force.

"House" is back on but I reckon "Cougar Town" looks like it might be okay.

Watched the first episode of House last night (God bless IQ). It looked like this season will be better than the previous one which started losing it's way a bit.
