Cheers for the heads up Courty

Without even watching that clip it sounds like that’s right up my alley.
Might have to sign up to watch on my computer. That’s the only way I can watch anything for now.

And how good is Hiroyuki? I've loved him in so so many shows and movies! A legend.

I recently watched the mini-series Griselda. I didn't have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised.
The final ep of Masters of the Air to drop in the coming days.

There is a plethora of new shows dropping recently or in the near future that I'm very keen to watch...

    Shogun
    Constellation
The Gentlemen (spinoff from the Guy Ritchie movie)
3 Body Problem (adaptation of a famous sci-fi novel)
    American Rust: Broken Justice
    Season 4 of The Boys

I'm not convinced. I haven't had a lot of luck with shows based on video games (except Gangs of London).

After a great season 1 of the lazuras project I am pretty disappointed with season 2.

    Yep -- 100% with you.

Much like the Tourist. 2nd season lasted 2 eps and just thought this was awful

    Shogun is most excellent though.

I 1 million percent guarantee they will **** 3 Body Problem.

Up there with Arthur C Clark in Sci Fi, those books .. there is no way a bunch a flag waving Americans will do a fantastic Chinese book justice.

If you havent read it.. find an audio book of it. So Good.

    -----------

Have just googled it. Benioff and Weiss are doing it.

Same guys that did Game of Thrones, so, lets hope it is like the first 3 seasons and not like the last 3.

I forgot to mention Dark Matter, an adaptation of a good book I read late last year.

If the Americans aren't to your taste, the Chinese released their own version last year.
I lasted less than 10 minutes... there's a reason the Chinese aren't known for their film & tv.

Power has been pretty good through a few seasons but it gets a little repetitive. Same scenario's different gang and leader.

What streaming service is Shogun on?
I’m not currently not signed up with anything and can only watch stuff on my laptop mostly.
Time and access to a TV is rare atm.

With nothing that we both wanted to watch, we decided to give The Gentlemen a go. We only made it half way through the movie, but have been pleasantly surprised by the first ep of the show. Quite enjoyed it. The pommie upholsterer nearby was raving about it; I think it reminded him of home.

It drove us both batty! But we did get further through it than we did Once Upon a Time in Hollywood! And I can park my brain outside and watch anything, usually.

The tv show, though, was excellent! We both loved it.

    Movie no good, series excellent?

Each to their own. Just because we didn't like the movie doesn't mean it was no good, and I didn't say that! Just didn't like it ourselves. I guess it's a good thing that every movie in the world isn't aimed specifically at being entertaining to us.
