We really enjoyed S3 of The Lincoln Lawyer. Really like the main cast. Still can't believe Aussie Angus Sampson is playing an ex Bikie heavy; I still just remember him as a regular cast member on TGYH

I remember seeing some episodes of Lincoln Lawyer some time ago from season 1 and really liked it. Must have been on some free to watch service because I got so many episodes in and then found out it was just a teaser to get you to subscribe to a streaming service to see the rest so I never bothered. I only had Netflix at the time and had no intention of paying for another.
What service is Lincoln Lawyer on @goughy? I don't have Netflix anymore and I've been thinking of ending Disney+ as its not giving me anything I like enough to watch since Shogun and Welcome to Wrexham finished (only subscribed for Shogun).
Old Man started so well and fell in a hole towards the end of season 1 and season 2 has failed to excite unless it gets better. Only watched the first 2 of season 2 so far.

All good found its only on Netflix. I think I had already canned Netflix when I saw some episodes but I cant be totally sure. I was only watching stuff on the free ABC, 7, 9, 10 and SBS streaming services.

    Some of our recents...

    Ghosts (UK Version)
    Bad Monkey
Shrinking Season 2 has resumed, first 2 episodes have dropped.

    Highly recommend all...

    Also rewatched Mindhunter.

I've recently binged 2 seasons of the Irish crime drama Kin and really enjoyed it. Apparently the production company has gone bust, so any future seasons are up in the air. It'll be a shame if it doesn't continue.
A third season of The Tower has just been released.

I've also got a few new shows lined up to check out... Nightsleeper and The Penguin. I'm typically not much of a fan of the superhero genre, but I'm going to check out The Penguin based on the strength of reviews... and I rate Colin Farrell.
I watched 3 eps of The Old Man and ditched it.
Slow Horses was fantastic as usual. Gary Oldman is brilliant.
    The Tower was solid.
I didn't even get through the first episode of Nightsleeper.
The Penguin is very good. No appearances or even mention of any superheros, so it's essentially a mobster story. If you didn;t know it was Farrell under the makeup you would never pick him.

I've watched the first 2 episodes of Disclaimer and am suitably intrigued. Will definitely watch more.
I've also watched the first ep of Sweetpea. It's a bit left field and maybe not for everyone, but I will definitely be watching more.
The reviews of Paris Has Fallen are decent enough to want to watch, as is the case with Teacup.
Lastly, a fourth season of Darkness: Those Who Kill has been released, so I will be checking it out (the first 3 seasons have all been excellent).

It’s been around for a while, but we’ve been watching Goliath on Prime recently. Enjoying the first two series so far.

Reminded me in style of No Country for Old Men.

1st series excellent. 2nd series is a bit.. formulaic. and slow and requires some brainlessness.
Slow Horses is where you want to be though.

Also .. the Diplomat. Keri Russell. I like Keri Russell, and the show is damn decent. new series due to drop shortly, so 2 for price of one.

The Old Man S2 was a slow, dragging start, but it picked up around ep 4 or 5. We just finished it. An old man is only going to move so fast.

Don't know if anyone watched Lioness Special Ops: enjoyed the first season and S2 opened with a cracker. Even the Mrs liked it. Pretty good cast.
And is Nicole Kidman in about every second tv series at the moment?

Up to date on Disclaimer (5 eps now) and quite enjoying it. Quite a bit of flesh on display in eps 3 & 4, but a riveting storyline and good acting performances as well.
Gave up on Sweetpea. If there wasn't so many other shows queueing up I would probably keep watching, but I have to prioritise.
Teacup has turned out to be surprisingly good. It's certainly not what I was expecting.

A few more shows dropping soon that I'm keen to check out are The Day of the Jackal (next week), The Agency (end of November) and Black Doves (early December).

Yeah, waiting for those 3 too.
Yeah, teacup seems to have come out of nowhere, but it's not bad.
After 2 eps of disclaimer Rob was getting annoyed with the narration, and we haven't gone further yet; also in the plenty to watch at the moment. I can only get in one, or at most 2 eps a night and there been plenty to watch.

Nice one County... I'll look forward to the Jackal. Gonna be hard to beat the last two Jackals, Willis and Fox were very good in the role.

Plum: ABC iview, 6 X 50 minute episodes

Brendan Cowell plays Peter "The Plum" Lum, ex champion footy (NRL) player dealing with the effects of CTE.

    Enjoyed it.

A big nod to Ted Danson and "A Man on the Inside", created by Michael Schur of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Parks & Rec fame.

A delightful dramedy (more the latter than the former though) with a similar tone to Shrinking.

"Everything smells like pennies and none of us can feel our arms" had me laughing out loud. And Rosa is hot. So I might check that out.

Enjoying Under the Banner of Heaven on SBS on Demand. Good cast. LDS plays a big part in it (that's LDS, not LSD).

I watched the first 2 eps of Black Doves last night and really enjoyed it. It almost has a Guy Ritchie feel to it, particularly the 2nd ep. Day of the Jackal has been very good. One more ep next week to wrap it up.
I've only watch the first ep of The Agency so far, and it was almost a carbon copy of The Bureau (which it is based on) with different character names. It is still very good though.
