At least my hearing is on the improve. Stadium gigs are much better for the ears than a day on the course with some WAnkers.

I am getting pretty excited for the Radiohead show in Melbourne next week.

Saw them on Monday night in Sydney. Was absolutely amazing.

I went to the new Perth Arena on Sun. INXS were awesome (and then announced it was their last ever live gig), and Matchbox Twenty were also very, very good. Rob Thomas' voice was really strong and the band are very talented muso's. You come to realise how many 'hits' they have had when you listen to the set.

How was the sound in the arena mate?

For INXS and MB20 it was pretty good...it was pretty crap for Elton though (don't ask!).

I think being brand new, that they might take some time to get it setup right. I noticed that the speaker stack placement on the rigging for Sunday was a LOT different to Saturday, so that may have quite a bit to do with it. I had a walk around at the Elton show and the sound was great lower down and straight in front. Higher on the sides was nowhere near as good.

Kiss tickets purchased (yay for presale). be interesting to see how the new arena is. I hated the accoustics of the Dome so hopefully this will be less barn-like

Not a concert but..... Zeppelin live at O2 arena album released today. I would have given my first born child to have been there!

Saw Coldplay last night at Suncorp Stadium. We don't have any of their albums but thought they would put on a good show so went along. They were fantastic and was surprising how many of the songs we recognised. Chris Martin is a great frontman. Well worth seeing.
