Given it rains at Bluesy every year, it is still alright. Haven't been to the new location at Tyagarah though...

Jim, if you don't mind the post-2008 DMB sound, I would heartily suggest you go. Solid 2 and a half hours.
Last night was fantastic. Front right on the railing at the Entertainment Centre...a night I'll remember for a long time (especially meeting Dave after the show with a few friends who waited outside the back stage door for about an hour afterwards).

Oh, and it's unfortunate that their opening act (Gary Clark Jr) is playing at the same time on a different stage on the Monday. Bloody outstanding blues guitarist.

I don't think they were as good as they were in 2007 (V Festival) or 2010 (Doolittle), but they appeared to be having more fun on stage. Frank and Kim really must hate each other...Cost a bomb in flights and accommodation... But to sing along to 'Hey' at the Opera House was totally worth it. Originally Posted by spanner039

Went to a little festival at Forbes on the weekend called Vanfest - Chet Faker, Matt Corby, Allday, British India were all pretty good. Chet Faker was about as pretentious as you would expect. Matt Corby was surprisingly good. Allday ruled.
But the weekend before I saw Kingswood at a pub in Dubbo - ruled.
