Pretty easy to see the issue, what did they come back with to fix it ?

Great to see another lunatic prepared to put dings in his shed. Mine looks like a house in Beirut.

That is exactly what I was saying regarding old habits. Hang back, pivot stall, flip! Have not had lesson feedback yet but hoping there will be a new thought process to address this as I have fought it for 20 years!

I have only one issue, sent one through an old net and my shed is now less waterproof than it once was...prompted a net upgrade!

So Adam has come back with the details on what he sees as the issues. Laid a lot out but said he expects this to be a years worth of work. There are drills I have to do for each fault.

    1. Setup. Too bent over and too far from the ball. Right hand grip is a bit weak.
    2. Transition. need to learn to use the ground more, squat and get into the left side more. This just feels bizarre to me!
    3. Clubface control. Get the clubface more closed half way down so there is no need to close it so hard through impact.
    4. Hand path. Need to get hand path going more left and up through impact.

He sent me a 20 minute YouTube lesson, if there is interest I can ask if he would be ok with me sharing it.

    No "recall the feeling" tips?

No nail hammering...no recalling the feeling...not sure how I feel about that.

    Do it.

Setup, Grip and first move will cure most of what you have wrong there. The problem you are going to fight is that the new swing is going to feel SO WEAK, and you wont know how to apply speed on the downswing. that straight right arm at setup is death to a flipper.

Just go with it and keep checking with video. Allow the swing to be feel weak and slow and be amazed how far it goes with such a shit feeling swing.

Have asked Adam if lesson is ok to share.

Did some work, this was from a drill, getting into the right position half way down, make sure to squat and get weight left, pump club a couple of times then go. Full swing isn't as good, but happy to work with this drill a bit.

    Left in new obviously.

Looks much better - right hand still too weak and posture too hunched.

you will see what i mean from behind, get those wonderful titties out in front and swing around your legs .. not using them, get those lats in in the action.

All of that sounds like George Gankas? All the cool kids doing that. If you dont know, hit up IG @Georgegankasgolf

As for one of those drills, as hands return to waist high, get the feeling of right palm facing the ground ( as if there is a table behind you and you put your hand flat on the table) This will result in left wrist nicely in flexion at that point

You might think this will result in hooks, but the other stuff he is saying means you wont.

This just works for me, and its freaky how far the ball goes.

How did things go with Adam Young, Toolish? I'm considering doing his 8 week online course: 8-Week Course - Adam Young Golf

I just did a one off lesson and to be honest I have not put in the work I should have so progress has been slow. I revisit the drills and feels over time and they get me back on track. The lack of progress is a reflection on me, not Adam.
