    Default 2005 Presidents Cup

This event is coming around quite quickly and I am sure the usual debate about the captain's picks will follow.

The internationals have been dealt quite a blow with Ernie out for the rest of the season with a knee injury requiring surgery - might be another spot for an Aussie.

It will be interesting to see if O'Hern gets a guernsey. He has one of those games that could frustrate the hell out of you in matchplay.... down the middle and steady as she goes....

How many is it that play again, 12 ?? Hensby must have crept up after jumping into the worlds top 30, Allenby might be a chance as well after his finish. He also has a very good record in match play type events.

who will be the weak links (assuming top 12 gets picked)???

for the Internationals, gut goes with Weir and Apples...
for the US, I reckon Love and Verplank...

this four hasn't exactly set the world on fire in recent weeks...

    Positions after this weekend's results:

    Internationals

    Nick O'Hern - 8 to 10
    Shigeki - 14 to 13
    KJ - 13 to 14
Rod Pampling - to equal 15

    USA - no change

The PGA Championship next week will determine the final automatic 10 spots - who will the Captain's pick?

i read somewhere earlier that Jack Nicklaus asked all of his team to write down who you'd like to be paired with on the first day.

ALL of the USA team wrote "Tiger"

.. except Tiger of course, who wrote a silly smiley-face

cocky bastard i hope AS and the Goose kick his arse
