OK, revision: 1 cart girl will resign after everyone realises she's the only good one.

Being my first Champs and having only met a couple of you in person I expect nothing......

    Except the normal:

First Tee: Despite how good I hit in on the range a soft, lazy pull hook off the first.

Somewhere over the weekend a great drive, 7 iron to 6 foot and then the worst putt you have ever seen....

Having a chance to play to handicap with about 6 to go, only to walk off with 29 points and wonder WTF!!

The shakes and a sombre mood on sunday from too many sherbets on Saturday night.

Looking forward to getting up there though.... I am easy pickings, ask Timah!, I will bring the piggy bank!!

I predict it is going to piss down worse than last year but still not wet enough to cancel the golf.

I predict losing many many brains cells I can ill afford to lose; that my liver and kidneys will hate me and that I will probably go through a lot of golf balls..

Oh, and I might even hit the very occasional good shot interspersed with plenty of shite ones...

I was with the Qld BoM head and head forecaster on Thursday....we will be unlucky to get a really wet weekend. Weak La Nina forming - don't plan on dry golf courses in the new year is what I would be thinking but in 2 weekends time we will be playing on firm fairways and fast greens.

Is the "head forecaster" better at spinning a wheel than the other forecasters?

It needs to piss down to make the bunkers half decent.

so i better take a wedge with about 20 degrees of bounce for the bunkers.

my bunker play sucks at the best of time with normal bunkers so hopefully wont go in many of them.
