Dan Murphy's has been great here, has caused the local bottle shop to compete so now I can play the 2 off one another for a decent price.

LOTS of left overs. "left overs" being possibly the greatest of all the beers. Many breads to choose from and a seemingly endless supply. Although the seemingly end seems to have raised it's head .
Boags draft (was plenty of those left over) is a good aussie full strength. Coopers Mid, very good midstrength, and last night i was a little over tired and picked up a Light Ice in a brain fart moment, mmmm, tastes good if you're not drinking it!
I tried the super dry harns. I thought they were ok. By choice i'm sticking with coopers sparkling at the moment (was on special a while back) and one of the better aussie inventions.
But i popped my head into this thread just incase there were super specials on the cards as what not so long ago was a fridge that could hold no more - has recently started to look empty (exept a few light ice's)

I'm not much of a beer drinker (in fact, not at all) but the bar at my club has been promoting Barefoot Radler's quite a lot lately. They are infused with lemon/ lime and have been extremely popular.
Apparently it tastes the same as a Corona with the lime slices jammed into the bottle, but without stuffing around with real limes.
MMM almost as good as the Grunt's Grog Pale Ale I am drinking right now.

Carton of Mae's this week....nice drop.
I don't mean to talk this post up, but it's possibly my most important to date.
20% off all cartons at BWS for this week only
The sale you have when you're not having a sale.
Most of the prices there are higher than what my local BWS usually sells for. F**kers!
It takes like shit at any rate. I got sent a free sixer as a promo and didn't even drink the whole thing, that's how bad it was.
Tastes nothing like a Corona or Sol with fresh lemon/lime.
The radler style began in Germany when a publican who got visited a lot by cycling groups wanted a beer they could have that wouldn't fill them up too much because they had to cycle a long way, so he added lemon squash or some shit.
I can't imagine it tasting worse if the bastard half filled a pint with lager and then took a crap in it.
ps - I was apparently a latercomer to this website, and most of you probably already know about it, but anyway visit www.boozle.com.au
Great website.
Woolies own BWS?
So that's Dan Murphys, Wollies Liquor and BWS?! What don't the bastards own?
