They boast that it's so pure they guarantee you won't get a hangover. My old man and I decided to test that and drink half a case each one night. They're right - not a hint of a hangover.

I'm actually on the Carlton Draught at the moment. The main reason being I'm on a lads trip to the Cox Plate and we're trying to win 100k.

And I don't need to explain that I aint running if we get a chance. We've already the nominated youngest, fittest, non-drinker to run for us.

... especially if you have light coloured carpet in your home

I've had a couple this evening, and like the last time I tried one of these lime infused beers, it just doesn't do it for me. It's too sickly for my liking.

Now to try the Platinum Blonde.

I've been enjoying the Cascade Green for the Friday staffies.

Not very interested in its' environmental credentials - but it is a nice lager.

I'm drinking the Platinum Blonde now. I'm no expert, but it has a Stella sort of taste to it. Meh!

Enjoying a few Blue Tongue Ginger Beers this afternoon. Nice Drop.

Only got to the second one and I hear the dog going nuts. She has a mother of all Blue tongues lined up. I have successfully transferred the Blue Tongue to the Front yard. Maybe it was looking for a drink.

Hey Grunt, milk and ginger beer (50/50) w/- ice is very refreshing on a hot day. Its a real surprise once you try it. Was a specialty of Cairns Golf Club in the 70's.

Matso's ginger beer is an excellent beer from Broome.

A great drink is Tuaca, Ginger Beer and fresh lime over ice.

I actually had a few more different types of beer while in the NT, but I started to think that any beer tasted good up there, as you developed a thirst for it.

Anywho, Coopers Sparkling Ale went down really well. I finished off a 6 pack in one sit, which is more than the usual these days.

I also had James Squire Amber and Golden Ale. Mmmmm, yummy. I've confirmed this since I have returned.

Nice work Andy - one of my all time favourite beers - and high alcohol content too - not far off 6% if I recall correctly

I drink most beers except those made in SA. Still have nightmares about the beer shortage 30 years ago.

James Squire's are some of the nicest beers ever made.

For those that like the Little Creatures Pale Ale, the Bright Ale is almost as good. Great with Asian food or with no food. Lovely stuff.
