Had an awesome IPA in Singapore this arvo at The Other Side,it was an inbetween east and west coast style.
Expensive but thoroughly enjoyable.
Place was difficult to find but worth the trouble.

One day I'll get to Singapore.
I've got two Christmas canvent boxes this year, so I've had to cut back on buying other beers, so there isn't too much to get through in December.
Singapore store gave me some good tips on other craft beer places to go - heading to Malaysia,Thailand and Vietnam.
The Other Side stocked Range beer, at twice the Brisbane price.
Man, I swear, he said she was 18.
In KL at the moment. Stumbled across a Japanese styled craft beer bar called Takumi, staffed by a lovely Vietnamese lady, so a real melting pot. The tap beers were pretty tame so she suggested a Vietnamese Neipa from Heart of Darkness brewery. Beer was called Loose Rivet. It was damn fine.
And for the record the beer I had in Singapore was called Coast of the Dead, from Sudden Death Brewing Germany - style was a 'no coast' IPA.
It's great to stumble across good bars when touristing.
I've had a couple of beers by Sudden Death in Austria, and you can find some of their beers around Brisbane, including My Beer Dealer on Caxton St. They don't exactly follow the German purity laws.
I've also actually had a Heart of Darkness beer too, but that was in Melbourne at an Asian craft beer tap takeover event.
Yesterday I went to Monty's Brewing company in Highfields near Toowoomba. Awesome spot with a view down the range, with good beer and food.
Agreed - although disappointed today...In Georgetown/Penang and came across an awesome little craft bar - but soon discovered that they had nothing on tap, and although the best in the fridge was some Heart of Darkness bottles, the rest was lame [brewdog various and some China ipa's that I was dubious of, - in fact when I mentioned that brewdog was almost a domestic beer in Australia he gave me a look of disbelief]
who would have thought that the highlights of visiting a fairly strict muslim country would be beer tasting.
Had a very tasty IPA at Gatvic, a nice little bar in Georgetown late this arvo.
Big Sexy Funk from Canada - 'Strathcona Brewing'. Was stinking hot today and this was just the thing for the heat and humidity.
Got some tips to search out when up in Bangkok in a few days.
In Bangkok atm and I think that the harder the place is to find the better the beer is....
Had trouble finding a place called Duke of Beerington because I assumed it was on the main road, it is tucked down a laneway and almost missed it totally.
Great little bar, I was recommended one of the three tap beers - a DDH Hazy Ipa [Hops vs Arts #15] from Arpus in Latvia.
This was sensational.
I might move to Latvia.
You've got one up from me. I've never had a beer from Latvia.
Next time Blakey.
The owner was pretty cool, we chatted travel, music, beer and Thai protests.
