Krombacher Weizen - 0.79 euros - lovely beer - full of creamy flavour and cheap -4/5

Krombacher Pils - half a litre for 1.15 euros - standard fare for this style - drinkable 2.5/5

Astra URTYP - 0.69 euros - pretty terrible/dull and lifeless - googled it after I drank it and all I got was a link to some music festival - very helpful... 1/5

Warsteiner Pilsener - 0.79 euros - not too bad - more flavour than the Krombacher Pils- 3/5

Glad it wasn't just me, thought maybe I was given a bad bottle. Will be tipping the other two down the sink.

Zillertal Weizbeer - 6 x 500ml = 6.8 euros - quite a nice beer - some complexity to the taste - great beer for the price and local to the Innsbruck region - we get shafted with beer prices in Australia - 3.7/5

Salzburger Stiegl - 500 ml - 1.1 euros - really like this beer, wasn't expecting much based on the can design - looks cheap and nasty. Has
a lovely smooth creamy taste, very drinkable - not sure what style it is - didn't look it up - 4.2/5

Puntigamer - 500ml - 1.15 euros - bland, generic beer, much like domestic Australian beer, wouldn't buy it again but would drink it if given to me for free and I had no money to buy anything else- 1.5/5

Puntingamer was the beer they were serving at the soccer in Vienna.

I am assuming you are in Austria Damo? Your current OG membership level is quite appropriate then! Enjoy, and post plenty of pics!

Good pick up Dave - didn't notice that. Heading into Slovenia today, then down the Croatian coast so looking forward to some new beers to try.

Did you drink any at the soccer P?

I did, but it froze the hands just holding it. It wasn't a good beer, but the cold temp would have killed most of the flavour.

    Default Beer

Panhead Three Eye triple IPA. 13% ABV. $20 for a schooner. So much flavour in this beer. Try it if you get the chance.
Hard to rate, but I gave it 4.5/5

2 very ordinary beers today from Brewcult.

Thanks Captain Obvious is an IPA. Pretty ordinary.
    2.5 on UnTapped.

Then, Reset Robot. A pale golden ale. Watered down shite. Very ordinary. My god, this is really ordinary
    1.0 on Untapped

Brewcult makes some amazing beers. I don't think those two impressed me, but I didn't think they were terrible either.

I got these 2 because of there bloody good ratings on UnTapped. I might see if the local has them on the shelf, and not cold. I find if they have been hot cold hot cold, it changes the flavour massively

    Default Beer

Actually, I gave both of them 3.5, but they were on tap.

The brewer has done several one offs, with nearly all tasting great, but most you couldn't get now.

There is now the standard range of 4, and you've had 2 of them. Spoiler Alert lager was nothing special too. Hop Zone session IPA is good though.

Had a couple of Slovenian beers whilst there - Union - which was frankly terrible, nothing much else to say - watery rubbish. 0.7/5

Also had a Lasko [lager not the pilsener] which was reasonable - what made it nicer was that it was in a backstreet small bar in Ljubjlana, as it was mid afternoon the waitress recommended some poppy seed cake with it and I was the only person there - all that combined made it a nice beer to drink - realistically though only a 3.1/5

Drinking a Croatian Lager now - Ozujsko - not too bad - pretty limited range of local stuff from what I can work out today - this one is a refreshing lager - would be nicer on a stinking hot afternoon in Australia but here is fair - 3/5

The question is not why, but how?

Should have passed out by at least 10pm
