Bottles are more fun for throwing at road signs after they’re emptied
    Forum needs more banter.

I reckon NT Draught gives Emu the flick, 2.25 litre; 'Mother's Milk' as Mick Molloy once called it

Definitely separates the men from the boys; pity they no longer make it, the bottle is used now as a wall antique at some pubs

I can report that the pictured beer is not sessionable (or in a can).

Was there some sort of ceremony involved in the pouring?

Considering this has two of my favourite 4 hops in it I was looking fwd to it very much.

OK but a bit underwhelming really - 3/5

How about Earl Grey tea beer? I've had a couple of good examples of that.

Gunnamatta by NZ's Yeastie Boys is a good one, and can be found in Australia.

I had it on hand pump in Christchurch a couple of weeks ago and it was super smooth. Apparently there is a double IPA version of it too.

Been in Melbourne for about a week and a half - in the Smith St Fitzroy area - Enjoying some of the beers around here. Had a nice Fixation IPA off the tap at the source, and a nice West Coast IPA [that's all I can remember...] at this place -

Bought a Deschutes fresh squeezed IPA at Dan's to try - not bad - large can - think it was close to 600 mls...

I make most of the beer I drink, have a bar and keg/tap setup next to the lounge room for serving it. With all this crap going on currently, I'm guessing the brewing will be happening a bit more often with no golf to play. Usually I make pale ales and pilsners, with a few red ales thrown in and a couple of dark beers a year. I also make my own bacon and ham, so I have things I can do in the meantime.

The elephant hotel in the valley up here is selling its full and partially full kegs off to the public since they obviously can't serve them (incl $50 deposit refundable on return of the empty kegs). Pretty decent prices for the volumes available. Was thinking about going and seeing what I can get, only problem being I don't have any commercial couplers to connect my lines to them. Could always order one online I guess.

One of my employees son is developing a website at the moment in aid of reviewing and pointing people in the right direction regarding SA local brewers and their products.

    graild.com.au

    Have a gander.

I guess it a good way to get free samples and to get free advertising.
He has just made this site to showcase how he builds websites and eventually maybe take it further with sponsorships etc...
