There are some decent breweries in their list, but not too many overall.

Currently at summer school in a small town in Italy. The local shop has cheap German 6 packs for about $3.50 Australian, drinkable but meh really.
The town craft beer shop is never open... A local bar we went to tonight had dull domestic beer and two taps... Hoegaarden and brewdog punk ipa.

Hoegaarden and Punk IPA are very drinkable.
Which part of Italy? I had a holiday there last year and stayed in Rome, Venice and Bolzano; there was plenty of beer for me to try in those places.

The IPA was quite nice. Especially as the temp. was in the low 30's last night...
In Reggio Emilia, south of Milan, between Parma and Modena.

Coopers XPA was on tap at the club on Saturday.
I offered to buy one, but the barman suggested a taste first.
Citrus would be a good adjective. Purple is probably an appropriate colour for this beer.
Bought a Sapporo instead.

Recommend me some good session beers.
Price irrelevant.
Cans preferred.

Not the bourbon barrel aged coffee and cardomom imperial stout that I had last night.
Something like Pirate Life Pale Ale might work for you.

Maybe back in the days when the only beers out in cans were the shit ones, but cans are much better than bottles now. Better seal and better protection from light, if that sort of thing was important to you.

Cans are just easier for the car boot, and we are going to multiple towns so will get thrown around etc,....

Another advantage. Also less weight, and stackable.

That’s what I’m going for!
Just want to get organised as the last Uncle Dans is at Dubbo, but I’m heading more country than that!
