Was that 330mL or 500mL? This particular place seems to overcharge for some bottles. I'll grab it elsewhere hopefully.

Been at a party tonight and took some Dead Pony Club for a bit of a session. Very nice and hard to believe it was only 3.8%
Also had some Return of the Dread stout from Little Creatures while I was there. Really enjoyed that too. Chocolate notes were great after all the hops.
Stone Brewing IPA.
This is pretty nice, a bit lacking in aroma, but a damn nice IPA.
3.5 on UnTapped
I had Feral Razorback barleywine earlier today, which has an ABV of 10.5%. It was pretty good, but most barleywines are. I still think Feral is over-hyped, but I gave it 3.75.
Unfortunately, all of the barleywines that I have had, would not be available to you; most were limited releases.
I'm not a fan of rye beers, but I did like Beavertowns 8-ball rye IPA.
Sierra Nevada Hoptimum Imperial IPA
Hoppy as all hell, it is bloody magic. 10.4%
I love it.

What does it take for you to give above 4?
Blackheart Brewery English IPA.
Nice beer, but I have been spoiled with some ripping beers lately so only a 2.5 on Untapped
It was all about big beers for me today. A bourbon barrel aged stout, a rye IPA and an imperial stout. All yum and I'm done.
Wolf Among the Weeds IPA. A pint can. Was good - big and brash like most west coast IPA seems to be.
For background, hops are typically used to add bitterness and flavour to beers. Typical beer styles use hops to bitter/flavour and malt for body and try to find a balance between the two.
When I say 'big and brash' what I mean is that many west coast beers (for example Pintail Pale Ale, Bigeye IPA, and this one, just to name a few) don't go for balance at all. They use a lot of hops to flavour the beer, to make a statement. There is no subtlety at all, just like when you're on holidays having breakfast in your hotel dining room and there's a loud American on his mobile phone - the hops are all you can hear.
Me, I like hops especially the more resinous varieties (reminds me of my pothead days). So I often like those styles. Often they're over carbonated but this one wasn't.
Think along the lines of a Ginger Beer that is all Ginger, and very little sugar or bubbles.
Monteith's Pointers Pale Ale - inoffensive kiwi beer - overall drinkable but bland - only 4.2 also which is a negative... - about 2/5.
At a wedding anniversary dinner party last night - the beer provided was Newstead's Two to the Valley - that is some class there -a lovely pale ale - upwards of 4/5, maybe even higher - full of flavour
Lazy Yak. Disgusting. 0/10.
