Peter_RS v BrisWesty - Round 4
Will this game happen? Potentially the weekend of the 24th/25th.
Will BrisWesty get a hat trick of walkovers? Hope not.
Where - Any suggested locations? Not at Caboolture; it's about to get cored.

Our site lists the comp as $16, it may be up to $19. I'm not sure, I never have to pay it or the social fee.
Single stableford.

Have you played there before Mark?
I PM andy to ask if the greens were in good condition, waiting on the reply

The greens aren't as good as they were earlier in the year, but they are okay. They aren't all the same type of grass and one of the greens is a temp POS, but the ball tends to go in the direction that I've hit it.

No wonder you guys can't play any matches.
Make sure you check the weather, the tides, the barometric pressure and anything else that could have an adverse effect before agreeing to play.

The 11th has played at about 230-235m for about 12 months.

If you guys play at Wolston Park, then leave the driver at home Pete. First time I played it, against P in matchplay actually, I hit the ball ok, but got caught out a few times when driver was just too much club. Found myself running through fairways and ending up in that awkward distance too close to greens. A solid hybrid or long iron off the tee is plenty of club in most cases.

The bunkers are behind the temp green and in play.

Carl uses driver a fair bit, but he knows the starting lines for the best result.

I'm home alone next weekend, so am not tied into family activities. I can give Beerwah or Woodford a call to see whether they have any vacancies in the field for next Saturday (plus it depends on whether they've cored the greens recently and the type of game too).
North Lakes is an option too.
Even happy to go south side now.
greens at woodford will be done in the week beginning 17th october.

I don't use a written plan for WP, although I'd still have one from when I played there pre-membership.

Both WP and Carbrook are new courses for me. Happy to check out a new track. Doesn't worry me either way.
