Speirsy......are you interested in playing on the Mornington Peninsula? It's a bit over an hours drive but there are some great courses down here - as you probably well know.

I'll just have to check and see if I can get one of the girls to mind the shop Sat morning. Shouldn't be a problem. I'll get back to you asap
Then we can see where we can get in. Will you have a car?

Yes, we are going to hire a car so I'll be freely mobile and able to get anywhere.

If you are in the city then it will no issue for me to pick you up on the way.

The forecast doesn't look great, but it will be warmer here than up at my 'home' course this weekend.

OK........I have got the day off work Where do you want to play? We have a choice of the more pricey courses - and considering the weather forecast they could be a bit risky due to their exposure. My home course is a good little track and pretty cheap. It's high on a hill and the bad weather tends to scout around. I can get us on there at 10.22.
Sounds like I'm pushing for there - but it doesn't bother me at all.
    What do you think?

I'm up for anything.....I'd like to play one of the more famous courses, but again, it doesn't really matter...I'm playing RM, KH and Metro while there so I'm not exactly struggling for good courses.....If you make the time somewhere, I'll be there.

Bruce, I'm in the City, so if you can drive, that'd be great.

Ok Rob & Bruce - we'll play at my home track then. ( Rob - save one of the better courses when the weather is better and when you haven't got me to hold you back )
We are booked in at Rosebud Park Public Course, Elizabeth Drive Rosebud. Tee off 10.22am. 03 59812833. We will be teeing off just before the mens comp.
Take the McCrae exit - right into Bayview Rd - left into Elizabeth Drive and drive up the hill. It's worth playing there just for the views - trust me.
I'll wait for you there - just ask for me if I don't see you first - ask for Noreen - they don't know me as flowergirl
    My mobile number is 0425776718.
I'm really looking forward to meeting up with you again Speirsy and to finally meet you Bruce. Yea.......Ozgolfers are coming to play with me at my home course....yea!!!!!!!!!! ( I get excited easily)

I'm pretty sure it's about $28 - give or take - plus $ for drinks afterwards
I'm trying to talk a friend of mine in playing - but she parties pretty hard and Fri nights are her big night.
    See you there.

The more time passes, the better the forecast appears for the weekend. We may not get wet after all.

Apart from a fresh breeze, I would think that Speirsy has had a pretty good run of it as he plays Melbourne's finest. Royal Melbourne yesterday, Kingston Heath today and the R&A Rosebud Park tomorrow.

    I am deeply envious.

We'll have to find a better way of doing that next time.

It took me 10 hours today.

Almost 4 hours of driving and the 5 hours on the course!!!

A curse on slow players. Stuck behind the Happy Hacker Social Group with the trailing group taking 6 putts on 1 hole.

    Looooong day.

Yea............sorry guys for the slow play. At least you got to spend quality time with me
Bruce played some great shots..........no way will he be off 26 for long ....no way. That drive on the 13th - what can I say. I'd be dreaming about that one for some time. Until he drops that handicap of his I won't be playing him matchplay - I'm not giving him 6 stokes - no way!!!

Speirsy - it was a delight to play with you - even though this goldfish plays a different game out there to you I learnt more off you today than six months worth of Rotella. Thanks for the chipping lesson.
Enjoy Moonah tomorrow and I look forward to hearing what you think of the course.

Thanks so much guys for making the trip down. I really appreciate the effort.

Don't apologise for something you had nothing to do with Reenie.

I'd certainly play there again. The quality of the course belies the $24 green fee. Good value in my book. Just gotta find a better solution to the amount of travel on the day of play.

With Gale Warnings for the peninsula today, I have suggested that Rob goes to the footy today instead of risking being blown away at Moonah.
