    Default 70's music.

    There was talk about starting a thread on 70's music so I thought I would kick it off. If you remember this one you are bloody old.....but you have good taste.

    Gaz, there's so much good music from the 70's. Why single out that garbage?

    I'm gonna like this thread.

    This contains the best lead break in history. The fact he could repeat it so accurately in concerts shows what a talent he was.

    EDIT: not the lead break, the outro.

    EDIT #2 That first one was cut short at the end.

    Far out. Watching that video brought tears to my eyes.
    Dire Straits changed my life.

    I am of the right vintage for the 70's, bring on the older AC/DC, black sabbath, deep purple, Neil Young, Billy Thorpe, Uriah Heap, Slade, etc or even the great led zeplin but sorry Mike I hate Dire Straits, was that even the 70's?????, they started to get big around 81-82 I thought.....I went to their concert and it was so boring!

    That's cool Stewy, each to their own. That concert looks like mid '80s but Sultans Of swing was actually from 1977.

    The 70's was Alice's decade, so many good songs but this is probably his anthem;
