has anyone tried it in a shaft that is already pretty tip-stiff? From what I understand, its designed to stiffen up the tip of the shaft to enable more control/accuracy etc. If the shaft is already very tip stiff, would it have much effect?

    Doesn't stiffen it. Stabilises it.

Forgive my ignorance on this one - but wouldn't the simple nature of stabilising it, also stiffen it? and by the same, wouldnt a very tip stiff shaft be quite stable in the first place?

It sits in the mid section rather than the tip. It stops the deformation of the shaft at impact. The shaft actually moves around the insert.

yeah - I had a read on the Harrison sight, and granted I was only skim reading, but it seemed like it was designed to sit in the tip section.

would it work out the same for say a hybrid shaft do you think?

In essence the effect is the same as the Nunchuk but you get to use the shaft of your choice. I'd be interested in it for hybrid shafts.
