Pured is different to Flo'd. Floíng is done with a laser weight and is about removing off centre oscillation. Puring is done on a specialised frequency machine that analyses the whole shaft. The most basic method of shaft alignment is spine alignment.
Most premium shafts seem to come spined or Flo'ed from the factory these days i.e. the Graphics are aligned to be on top (or underneath if that is your prefererence).

I thought puring essentially finds the same thing the laser finds though which is not the same as what bearings find when spining?
I read the same thing about shaft graphics and was going to have the club builder orientate my Recoils with graphics down but the laser showed that the shafts weren't all FLO'ed with label down or up. The graphics on my Recoils are all over the place which doesn't concern me because I only ever hit one club at a time but I guess what interests me is that I'll never know what they would have played like if they weren't FLO'ed. I can understand that the shotmaker is likely to make a noticeable difference to any shaft because it's a physical object inside the shaft to promote stability.
I guess I'll have to get one of my driver shafts that I'm familiar with FLO'ed to see if it makes a difference or if it's a waste of time and coin.

I am pretty sure the Pured brigade would disagree greatly. I guess the difference for me is that I can Flo a shaft myself, I can spine it, but there is no way I can Pure one.

More than likely yes. I wonder though would the shaft orientation end up in the same position

Flo to Pure, I don't know. Spine to Flo, not often in my experience, though the differences can be subtle.

I'm likely not good enough to notice the difference anyways!

You will however notice the difference with Shotmaker in, less outlier drives, tighter dispersion and more FIR. That is the usual experience anyway.

They do (they are on the compatibility list), but I did find mine comes loose occasionally.

Yes... got one in mine. Never had any problems with it coming loose in the several years I have had it.
