To be honest, I haven't made OZgolf matchplay the priority that it has been in previous years due to now having a full club membership and acknowledging that winning a handicap matchplay comp three years in a row isn't very realistic. I've been close to withdrawing a few times with pennants and now club champs clashing.
But, I'm still in and should give this match the attention that it deserves. Last time we played, it was a very high quality match. I think we both scored 40+ stableford points. There's no guarantee of that this time as we have both lost shots since then, but hopefully there is still some good golf involved.
I don't think Hux has many rounds in the leadup, and I may have the one or two, which is less than the usual.
I suppose I am the favourite, so GO ME!!

Nah it will make no difference. Shit is shit regardless. Barely hitting irons at present but driver is being fairly kind. At least nudgee north is generous on fairways

I don't need to say anything. You're talking yourself down enough.

a thread like this, with this level of detail (self inflicted pats on the back in disguise) suggests this is being taken very seriously!

Perhaps someone is subconsciously being more serious than they realise?
