    Default Let me introduce myself.

    Hey Guys,
Been a member for a little while but been a bit slack in taking the time to introduce myself. Have just started to play again after a 8 year lay off. Been back at it for about 2 months and just got my first golflink handicapp, 8.6 which i think is anything but generous..... but that is another story.... So far I have found the ozgolf to be interesting, a credit to all involved. I am a mad keen fisherman as well and in my experience the quality of the forums are reflected in the time people take to post interesting and insightful comments.... And little bit of stirring as well..

Any way cheers for having me....

    Andy

Welcome Andy. Coming back to an 8.6 after an 8 year break, you must be pretty handy! Good luck with it and enjoy the board.

    Cheers and thanks lads.

Henno, based a Windaroo so hit the pin and the GC seaway as often as I can.... Mad keen lure fisherman, kayak as well so what ever will have a swipe at it i guess... Prefer summer for fishing hence picked up the sticks and away I went again in the cooler months... Not to mention the dodgy weather of late, making the fishing a tad tough...Been lucky enough to to go to weipa a couple of times and the Daly in NT to chase barra in the run off.. Most fun you can have in a boat, hands down.. Make you hands shake for sure and would reccomend it to everyone, my old boy is not a fisherman at all and he had a ball...

Pieface, Handy maybe..... lucky to have a lot balls under my belt whe i was a kid mate, I was mad keen, has left me with some good habits I haven't managed to ruin yet... Time will tell what happens from here.

Welcome Popper. You'll develop some really nasty habits if you frequent the Pro Shop threads. Stay away. Well away.

    G'day Popper

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

    Boys,
I am a closet ho already.... should see the lure collection I have, not to mention the aussie dollar at the moment.. Makes it way to good to be true... I have already met Perci and manged to sneak some shafts of him so the proshop may well have another victim already.....

Happy to takes tips off all of you...hahahaha as long as they are good ones...

Timah, not a memeber at windaroo at the moment. Have been previously though. Even won a junior pennat with them back in the day... Did playthere the other day... It is in really good knick at the moment. You are a member there i take it?

Yeah Bud, been a member there since Nov last year. Definitely no where near 8 though!
Course is in pretty good nick, just not handling the rain too well. I suppose no where really is though.
