This is an awesome driver and i have hit this about 10 times, unfortunately too much loft for me.
At $215 it is a bargain.

How did the Octane compare to the FT-iz (assuming you've hit the iz)?

The iz was rubbish IMO. Horrible feeling driver good distance but yuk. The octane is like ADLO said probably callawYs best feeling driver. Good distance and very forgiving.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe the IZ was a composite head, and being one of the first ones, thats what made it feel like rubbish. no feedback.

Checked with my mate simmsy, he's got his eye on the 910. Sorry mate.

No iz was the 4/5th gen composite head. Just really harsh feeling compared to ft9 or Octane.

fair enough. I just know it was the first composite driver I had a hit of, and it was absolute mud. The octane is a nice one to hit, and in adlo's hands it came off sweet!
