Still number 4 on the world rankings. Thought the win may get him higher. Don't fully understand the points system.

    He was awesome...

16 was an 9 iron that went almost 200 yards . . . bit hard to allow for that.

He was back the end of last year . . .

Couldn't believe that shot on the highlight reel. Not even a full swing with the 9 iron either, almost a punch shot!

thats a little more than 175metres. He did say the wind was behind him, but god damn that is LONG.

I just don't understand how they hit it that far. absolutely amazing. I am looking forward to watching the highlights properly. All I have seen is that one shot.

Did you see Bubba hole out in the last event, used a sand wedge from about 150m (?) from thick rough. He gave it the full beans but still - a sand wedge?!?

I just read that thread. Wow.

I refuse to believe it. My 130m 8 iron is as good as it gets.

    That was the clincher.

He had plenty of green to hit to the right, but took dead aim and hit it a smidge fat .... leaving himself that tricky chip from a horrible lie

Should've been a two shot swing after Tiger sent his approach over the back of the green.

But yet again, Tiger makes the clutch hole-out when he needs to, and others don't.

He's back, don't you worry about that. Anybody who knows anything about golf would know that. If you haven't been watching, Tiger has averaged four wins for each year he has been on tour. How many has he won this year? How long will it take him to pass Sneads record, because he will. Whether you like him or not, he has recently added three more wins to pass Nicklaus as the second most winning player on Tour of all time and he is only 36, equiped with a new swing that will serve him well to the end of his career.

But then again what would I know.

Some journalists are predicting he may reach 21, John. It's anybody's guess, but he was Impressive at today's press interview. When he gets back into a full tour schedule, it will become more clearer.

I tend to agree, his touch around the greens is getting sharper, he is starting to sink/pull off the shots that we expect him to and his driver is 'behaving' more so than previously. I think he can still be a touch shakey on some of the short putts but he is certainly sinking more of them than last season.
